    This office greenery has a strange trunk. Would any of you lot know why this is called?

    Its a Ficus, they grow slowly and don't shed their leave much and as you can see can be trained into shapes

    Yes, looks like a weeping fig. Supposedly good for improving air quality indoors.

    Weeping fig.

    I recently climbed over my neighbour's fence and stole some cuttings from his huge Ficus in the middle of the night.

    Good cutting success rate if you want to snip some off surreptitiously in the office although it bleeds sticky white sap profusely when cut, so keep some wet wipes on you to cover your tracks.
