Oh Yeah, They can cause some serious damage on some surfaces, especially if one is using the wrong nozzle head for the type of job they are doing. I use the small one I have for the tile underneath our place but I am very careful not to get it to close as it will pit the tile. I usually use it to just like loosen up the dirt them squeegee it off.

I got a laugh out of your "one section that is done and the other that it isn't".... Once you commit to an area you have to finish it. If not, it looks terrible.

True, but as a person of leisure (read lazy git) I'm so pleased with results so far that it's tempting to leave the side stretch as is just to revel in the contrast.

That said, I know it has to be done and it will be, next the car port/path etc, and hopefully sometime next week a second approach to despatch the stubborn patches.

I think if I went through it again from start it would be with a cheaper washer which does more or less the same; extra power doesn't mean better, but lots of fun either way.

Are you using the right lance Jab?

This guy demonstrates how it should be done and only on the non dirt blaster gun

I skipped all the gibberish. So it's a power washer. Welcome to the 19th century.

I didn't know till after I committed that there were different versions of the k3; that's a Follow Me (4 wheels and different attachments), mine's a Full Control (sic) also with a detergent reservoir but (seemingly) without a mix option.

I was toying with the idea of getting one of these to help clean the car with but then thought it might be being a bit lazy and overkill.

Think I see your problem now Jab and why you got it it for 5990 instead of the one i saw at Homepro for 7490.

Looks like you just have the dirt blaster lance.

This is the vario lance that you need, but not cheap and probably why you got yours at that discounted price

There are cheaper generic ones on Lazada. Type in Karcher K3 lance and you'll see a few.

Thanks for that, I do have the adjustable lance as well but the dirt blaster was in use for that pic.

A major breakthrough when I toyed with the adjustable, twisted it slightly until the display dropped to mix and from now that will be the primary lance as the blaster has seen off the serious bits.

Up in the air right now, but must say that's the best 6k I've spent in a while and will post more pics once settled.
