    Never saw this before.

Things look bad for rural folk and this years rice crop. Also looking bad for cattle farmers. Due to no rain, or little rain, the rice is doing badly. And with the lack of rain the grass they grow to suppliment cattle feed whilst the rice fields are off-limits is taking a beating. Weeds are taking over. Resulting in farmers now cutting the damaged rice to feed their cattle. I've never seen this before in my years of living here.

I saw a few poor sods in Isaan cutting grass on road verges and loading decrepit pickups - presumably for feed.
Buffalo on verges too but that's pretty normal I think.
