If you can't find any original Honda or similar sized non-Honda blades, go to a well-stocked hardware store and buy yourself a quality steel Brush cutter blade, flat type, 14 or 16 inches long. There's a few Japanese ones on the Thai market that last long(-er) and will cost you around 300 Thb.

Have a metal shop cut, drill, sharpen and reshape that into the blades you need, maybe an extra pair for later. Thickness should be okay; none of my blades is more than 2 mm.

Good suggestion Gipsy but chances are those blades are hardened steel . Putting a bend in them for grass discharge would prove difficult.
As it stands, my missus has now got the supplier of my mower to order spare blades from god knows where. He says it should take 2 weeks. I wait and see.

Take off the central wheel thingy and see if you can buy a more "conventional" blade to fit the shaft?

I've thought about that also. Due to my location I'll look to may be doing that once the grass growing season is over in November. But at the moment I'm committed to letting my mower supplier sorting out spare blades. Thanks

I now have a Thai guy that will whip me up some. Not hardened steel, as they should be, but they seem okay. Thanks for letting me know.
