    It looks like one from the various bitter gourds that grow everywhere. I wish my courgettes would grow as well.

    Saw these last week at Huai Mae Dee there was only the flower showing above the ground.



    And a double.



    They have the look of some sort of an orchid.

    Those violet flowers are great duck food.
    Neighbour feeds her duck with them and the duck loves them.
    They are probably edible for us, too, like nasturtiums.
