Bamboo Fence

Couple of years ago,someone posted the name of a non spreading Type of bamboo that was good to plant as a fence.

Does anyone know the name of it.

I recently planted about 200 seedlings, takes a lot of work tending keeping chickens and rats away, now in rainy season the creeping vines take over if you aren't careful.

Here's a well established and nicely tended bamboo fence in Chiang Dao.

Not sure what the name is. It's a runner not a clumper specie. Hopefully my fence will look this good some day.

The guy to talk to is Khun Wit, speaks excellent English and is the bamboo expert.

He also works closely with the Baan Saami folks, and has nurseries in Krabi and BKK.
