How would a goat get along with a couple of (generally) mild mannered pet dogs?

The only time our dogs go off is when a soi dog wanders into their patch, even then it's not fighting just a lot of noise for a couple of minutes or so.

I'd like a goat or two to keep the garden at bay, we don't have any ornamental plants or anything so it wouldn't really matter what they ate as long as we can keep them off the wires for the water pumps and things.

Probably be absolutely fine together. Never seen Thai dogs be bothered by goats, they usually pay no attention to them

Provided you tether them to the bits you want cut they should be ok.
You need an anchor off the Titanic to hold the buggers though.

If you find a source please post it.....I want some too. Goats are great animals....great milk, great housekeepers, funny, entertaining, friendly....and if none of that works out, they are very tasty when roasted with a bit of garlic.....

I knew a lady who used to keep prize goats. They get up to all sorts of mischief.....you need to be around all the time.

    Really?
Last I popped by the neighbor who has goats their 4 year old daughter was playing with a freshly severed head while the missus was busy with the carcass...

This usually applies to chooks, ducks, cats, etc. as well.
There seems to an understanding between all [especially canines]

You are going to have to either buy them in milk or have them bred so that they kid. then the milk comes and you have to pull the kids or they drink the milk. Gestation on a goat is 150 days. Good goats will milk up to and sometimes past 10 months and should be producing a gallon a day. But you will have to feed them 16% protein ration to get that production. Also, you need to find a place to get Cydectin and worm them about every 3 months. 10cc's per hundred weight. Oh, and if they get out of the pasture they will eat all your neighbors plants.
