Wow! Did he invite you to dinner this evening?
We do have plans for a fishing weekend. Not sure what he's using for bait though....
^^^ is that KGs? Surely not...
What is it and how does it taste?
I had a lovely piece of Kingfish (Spanish Mackerel) for lunch today. :)

Just thinking of sticking my arm into an underwater murky hole to find a fish makes me feel queasy.

Betty, my friend's fish weighs in at 22kg
^that's a big fish... I'm not sure how good that catfish tastes; not as good as snakehead me thinks? Did he catch it in one of the lakes where the fish jump out at you on the bank?
I once went out fishing from PhiPhi, caught nothing, but the gf (Danish...) caught a 10kg king fish that fed 8 of us that night...
Don't worry, T - I will post a pic of my latest fish conquest as soon as I open the can... :)

His g/f has barbecued the fish. Not sure how many guests there were since he has only moved to Kanchanaburi with his work this past month.

My contribution to the Taxidermy thread.
Classic San Francisco Cioppino. Seafood stew, does have either haddock or flounder in it usually, along with crab, squid, mussels, and clams.

^ Oh, how I miss cioppino and sour dough bread with Napa Valley wine.

Not much of a fisherman, but get lucky now and again.
Caught in the Lam Dom Noi last year.
