I met ( and pissed it up) with a sewage diver. He swam throgh the sewers identifying brickwork to get fixed and blockages he could sort.
He wore no Kirby Morgan (Head n mask) nor a positive pressure suit just the same gear a wanker such as I would wear in the seas around Britain.
He would take a breather in air pockets a real no no as they can be full of noxious gas and if the tit dropped into the water it just went straight back in his mouth.
He dived in a soup of excreta with peanuts and sweetcorn. He enjoyed a pint.
