I had the same thing happen to me on a bike when I was around 13. I had a purse on my shoulder and it fell into the front wheel. I landed on my eyebrow at the outer edge and had a concussion. Not nice.
I was riding on the handlebars and got my foot caught up in the spokes. Ugliness!
