The Cadwalladers (brothers of a certain age who
live two estates over) sense a target rich environment
and ask to call on the sisters. When they learn of the
Abbey's financial state they seem to have other plans.
Local merchants have started to present their bills in
person at the kitchen entrance. Grumbling ensues.
