^Guess it depends on a few things, including people you work with with or know socially. Some Poms I know use rhyming slang (depending where they're from) but the amount of Aussies I know who use it (no matter where they're from) outnumbers them many times over, especially if there's drinking involved. No guessing needed as to where someone is from who's about to have a snakes hiss then hit the frog and toad.
