Scuffles have broken out in Cairo's Tahrir Square as soldiers tried to remove activists from the epicentre of Egypt's uprising which resulted in the president stepping down.
Hundreds of protesters remained in the square on Sunday and organisers said they would not leave until more of their demands are met.

Armed men have opened fire and hurled a grenade into a crowded nightclub in the Mexican city of Guadalajara, killing six people and wounding at least 37.
The grenade was thrown at the porch of the bar in Mexico's second most populous city, police said on Saturday.

Three women and three men were killed in the attack and more than 20 people were wounded. The assailants fled in several cars.
This is the second grenade attack on a Guadalajara bar in less than a month: On January 16 an argument between gunmen and musicians ended in a blast that killed two people.

    Dubai Desert Classic

Spaniard Alvaro Quiros fired a hole-in-one to win the Dubai Desert Classic by one stroke on 11 under.
Quiros aced the par-three 11th, only three holes after a triple-bogey seven at the eighth, to finish ahead of James Kingston and Anders Hansen.
Three successive bogeys ended joint overnight leader Rory McIlroy's hopes at six under while world number one Lee Westwood finished a shot behind.
A triple-bogey seven on the 18th saw Tiger Woods slip down the leaderboard.

Tropical Cyclone Bingiza east of northern Madagascar early on February 10 [Joint Typhoon Warning Center

Tropical Cyclone Bingiza is creeping ever closer. For the last few days it has been swirling a few hundred kilometers off-shore, with just the outer fringes of the storm thrown westwards towards the island.

These outer bands have already brought a lot of rain, but the centre of the storm where the worst of the weather is, has not reached Madagascar yet.
Currently the eye of the storm has sustained winds of nearly 160kph, and gust of 195kph. This makes it the equivalent of a category 2 hurricane, but the storm is still expected to strengthen as it creeps slowly westwards.

Banned former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has landed a new job working as a television pundit in his home country during the Cricket World Cup. Butt was banned for 10 years, five of which are suspended, when he was found guilty of corruption after allegations of spot-fixing last year in England.

    6 Nations - Ireland v France

Joy for the home supporters as Fergus McFadden crosses the line for the first try of the afternoon after only 5 minutes

Luke Fitzgerald being chased by a very gay Frenchman. No foreplay (kissing) just straight for his lovers underwear. Probably wouldn't say it to his face though

A flurry of penalties allows France take the lead in the 26th minute

Tomas O'leary sneaks over the line to give Ireland a 15-12 lead at half time

Another gay Frenchman. ''Oh excuse me luvvie, can i get through?'' (in french of course)

France take a 22-15 lead in the 55th minute with a try.

With only 12 minutes of the game remaining James Heaslip touches down and the conversion makes the score 25-22. An enthralling finish in store?
Unfortunatly not as no more scoring on either side so France get their second win of the competition.

Sunil Gavaskar at the wicket in 1975

Gary Gilmore and Clive Lloyd in the final of 1975

Viv and Collis King in action in the 1979 final against England

India prevented a hat-trick of victories by W. Indies in 1983

Australia victors over England by 7 runs in the 1987 final.

The 1992 WC featured coloured kits, white balls, black sightscreens, floodlights and 9 teams

Pakistan winning for the first time against finalists England (again) by 22 runs

Chinaman bowler Paul Adams almost doing himself a mischief whilst playing for South Africa in the 1996 finals

Sri Lanka winning the final by 7 wickets over Australia

The 1999 final was played in the British Isles/Netherlands. Steve Waugh displaying a complete lack of taste by wearing a national costume for the photo call.

Waugh redeemed himself however in the semi final in one of the most incredible finishes in world cricket when they beat SA on the final ball of the match

Australia went on to beat Pakistan quite comfortably in the final despite knowing that they would have to wear those incredibly awful jackets again

Controvesy in the african finals in 2003 when Shane Warne tested positive for a banned drug and England refused to play Zimbabwe, resulting in them failing to make the Super 6

Australia win by 125 runs against India in the final

The 2007 group photos call. OMG, who is that wearing an ORANGE jacket? Shocking, quite shocking!! Australia again not fairing much better.

Disaster struck the finals when Pakistan's coach, Bob Woolmer, was found dead in his hotel room.

What an athlete! Portly 20 stone prison van driver Dwayne Leverock (Bermuda) dismissed Pieterson and Collingwood in a warm up game before taking a superb catch against India.

The final unfortunately ended in farce and near darkness when the umpires misunderstood the rules following a rain break. Australia, unbeaten in 29 games, easing past Sri Lanka
