Sebastian Vettel cruises to dominant Italian GP victory
Sebastian Vettel fought back to win Red Bull's first Italian Grand Prix and move closer to a second world title.
Fernando Alonso took the lead with a brilliant start but Vettel re-passed him to take his eighth win of the year.
Jenson Button's fast-finishing McLaren passed Alonso later and team-mate Lewis Hamilton was fourth after losing time in a fight with Michael Schumacher.
Red Bull's Australian Mark Webber crashed out, and was one of eight cars to retire from an exhilarating race.
Vettel now leads the championship from Alonso by 112 points which means his first chance to seal a consecutive world title will come in Singapore in a fortnight's time.
"It's no big surprise that this man is the winner again," said BBC F1 co-commentator David Coulthard.
"Are we witnessing one of the true legends of the sport? He's proven today he's fighting for victories even when he does not have to take a risk."
Australia migrants: Gillard to pursue Malaysia swaps
Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard says her government wants to revive an asylum-seeker swap deal with Malaysia.
She spoke after receiving the backing of her Labor Party caucus for proposed legislative changes to the Migration Act to allow such an arrangement.
Australia's High Court ruled this month that her plan to send 800 asylum-seekers to Malaysia in return for 4,000 processed refugees was unlawful.
The ruling threw the controversial plan to control immigration into disarray.
The plan - dubbed the Malaysia Solution - was supposed to send a tough message to boat people that they would not be processed in Australia.
The court ruled that Malaysia did not offer adequate protection for refugees. The country is not a signatory to the United Nations convention on refugees.
"We are determined to pursue the arrangement we have made with Malaysia," Ms Gillard said.
Libya conflict: Gaddafi's son Saadi 'arrives in Niger'
One of the sons of the fugitive Libyan leader, Col Muammar Gaddafi, has arrived in neighbouring Niger.
Niger's justice minister said Saadi Gaddafi had been in a convoy which was heading towards the capital, Niamey.
Col Gaddafi's whereabouts are unknown. He has said he will die in Libya.
Anti-Gaddafi troops now control most of Libyan territory, including the capital Tripoli. They have been trying to seize several cities controlled by loyalists, including Bani Walid and Sirte.
On Sunday, rebel forces resumed their attack on Bani Walid, supported by Nato air strikes. Officials say their forces are now within reach of the centre of the town.
Some of Col Gaddafi's family have fled to Algeria. Several convoys of former Gaddafi loyalists are also said to have streamed over Libya's southern border with Niger recently.
Burmese political satirists return home from exile
A group of prominent Burmese satirists has flown back to Burma from self-imposed exile in Thailand.
Three comedians and a dancer flew from Chiang Mai to Rangoon weeks after Burma's new civilian president urged exiles to come home.
One of them said there were signs that Burma's military-backed government was taking steps towards democracy.
President Thein Sein's appeal has divided exiles, some of whom point out that he offered no amnesty.
The performance troupe, Thee Lay Thee, became well known across Burma for daring shows and videos in which it joked and performed satirical skits about the military leadership.
A performance in Rangoon in late 2007 poked fun at the authorities, just months after the security forces put down renewed anti-government protests.
Weeks later, the group went on an overseas tour and decided not to come back.
Their founder, the comedian Zarganar, who stayed in Burma, was jailed in 2008 and is now serving a 35-year prison-sentence.

US Open 2011: Serena Williams faces action for outburst
Serena Williams will discover on Monday whether she faces further punishment for an angry tirade at umpire Eva Asderaki in the US Open final.
Sam Stosur won the match 6-2 6-3 after Williams was given a code violation for verbally abusing the Greek official.
Tournament referee Brian Earley must now decide whether to fine the 13-time Grand Slam champion.
Williams, 29, has been serving a two-year Grand Slam probationfor an outburst at the US Open in 2009.
"Any impact this code violation might have on Serena Williams' Grand Slam probation would require the incident being ruled a major event," said a statement from the United States Tennis Association.
"That determination will be made by the Grand Slam Committee Director."

Urging the crowd to boo the umpire now, lovely sporting gesture
Williams continues to berate the umpire telling the Greek official ''If you ever see me walking down the hall, look the other way.... you're a hater....how can you do such a thing.... i never complain'' Trailer trash yes?
Williams then launches into a full-scale tirade, warning the umpire not to look at her and calling her ''unattractive inside''
Despite the disruptions Stosur keeps calm and wins in straight sets 6-2, 6-3
Ex-Tory Lords Hanningfield and Taylor freed from jail
Ex-Conservative peers Lord Taylor of Warwick and Lord Hanningfield have been released early from jail sentences for fiddling parliamentary expenses.
Former Essex County Council leader Lord Hanningfield was jailed for nine months in July for falsely claiming almost £14,000 for overnight stays in London.
Lord Taylor was jailed for a year in May for fraudulently claiming £11,277.
It is understood they were freed on curfew with electronic tags, having served a quarter of their term.
The Prison Service does not comment on individual cases but a spokesman said home detention was used for "low-risk prisoners", serving sentences of between three months and four years, who had spent at least 30 days behind bars.
Both peers had said during their trials that submitting false claims was accepted practice among members of the Lords.
The pair were among six parliamentarians to be imprisoned following the expenses scandal, along with former Labour MPs Eric Illsley, David Chaytor, Jim Devine and Elliot Morley.
Lord Taylor, 58, was found guilty of six charges of false accounting over claims for travel costs and subsistence.
'Leak risk after explosion at French nuclear plant'
There is a risk of a radioactive leak after a blast at the southern French nuclear plant of Marcoule, media reports say.
One person was killed and three were injured in the explosion, following a fire in a storage site for radioactive waste, Le Figaro newspaper said.
It is a major site involved with the decommissioning of nuclear facilities.
It produces MOX fuel, which recycles plutonium from nuclear weapons, but does not include any reactors.
A spokesman for France's atomic energy commission said there had so far been no leak but a security perimeter had been set up because of the risk.
The plant is located in the Gard department in Languedoc-Roussillon region, near France's Mediterranean coast.
