Lockerbie Bomber Near Death, CNN Says
Abdel Baset al-Megrahi (above in 2009), the dying Libyan convicted of the 1988 Lockerbie bombing and freed on compassionate grounds despite U.S. objections, was close to death in Libya, CNN reported on Sunday.
