A group of crazy skydivers have taken their extreme hobby to the next level by setting off fireworks as they jump out of the plane. Pyrotechnic skydiving is the latest wild craze in extreme sports. A team of four divers activate sets of fireworks strapped to their legs as they fall through the air of speeds of up to 120mph. The Fastrax team are high performance skydivers used to throwing themselves out of planes and creating shapes in the sky. But unlike ordinary dives, their latest act includes an added element of danger, namely the giant sticks of gunpowder attached to the divers ankles firing sparks everywhere

A mysterious 'magic island' has appeared out of nowhere in radar images of a hydrocarbon sea on Saturn's giant moon,Titan. Scientists are struggling to explain the bright 'transient feature' but say it could be the result of waves, bubbles, or buoyant solid matter. The object was spotted by flipping between images of Ligeia Mare, Titan's second-largest sea, captured by the Cassini space probe which has been exploring the Saturnian system since 2004. Prior to July 2013 the sea had appeared flat and completely devoid of features, including waves. Then the enigmatic object, dubbed 'magic island' by scientists, suddenly materialised - only to vanish away in later images

A diver swims near the bow of the wreck of the Baron Gautsch ship, near the Adriatic town of Rovinj June 22, 2014. The 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Baron Gautsch, an Austro-Hungarian steamboat which sank in the northern Croatian Adriatic sea, will be marked on August 13, 2014. The ship, originally used to service passenger lines, had been leased by the Austro-Hungarian Army following the July 1914 outbreak of World War One to transport troops, only to run into a friendly minefield off the Brijuni islands less than a month later. Estimates say between 240 and 390 people perished in the sinking, making it one of the biggest losses of life in World War One. Today the shipwreck lies at a depth of 40 meters off the coast of Rovinj and is said to be the most popular site for divers in the Adriatic.

The Canadian ambassador to Egypt, David Drake, center, attends the sentencing hearing for journalists working for Al-Jazeera in a courtroom in Cairo, Egypt, Monday, June 23, 2014. An Egyptian court on Monday convicted three journalists from Al-Jazeera English and sentenced them to seven years in prison each on terrorism-related charges, bringing widespread criticism that the verdict was a blow to freedom of expression. The three, Australian Peter Greste, Canadian-Egyptian Mohamed Fahmy and Egyptian Baher Mohammed, have been detained since December charged with supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, which has been declared a terrorist organization, and of fabricating footage to undermine Egypt's national security and make it appear the country was facing civil war.

This posing spider can't take its eyes off the camera and even looks like its had a trip to the hairdressers for a new set of highlights. With season four of Game of Thrones having drawn to a dramatic close, the movie and TV streaming service has produced their very own homage to the hit HBO series to help tide fans over. Roxy, Blue and Bono love nothing more than dressing up as their favourite characters but they are fortunately much cuter than the baddies they portray. Owners Phillip Lauer, 57 and his wife Sue, 47 have been dressing their pugs up as characters from cinema and TV since they were puppies. The fourth instalment of the critically acclaimed drama Game of Thrones is available now to buy from Tesco’s streaming service blinkbox

A classic Mini Cooper with just 13 miles on the clock is up for sale after the sons of its only owner grew too tall to drive it. The limited edition 25-year-old gem, seen here with David Hollis behind the wheel, was kept hidden in a Cheshire farmers shed for almost all its life after he bought it for his two sons as a 21st birthday present. But by the time they'd got old enough to drive it, their heads were hitting the roof and it was left to gather dust. Despite its age, it is as good as new and starts perfectly, having never been driven on the road
