If you're looking for a mini-people carrier complete with industrial-strength armour, then some American designers have got the vehicle for you. Affectionately named the Badonkadonk, it appears to be a big metal hovercraft, but is in fact manoeuvred using four off-road wheels. The one-of-a-kind Donk can fit up to four passengers, two comfortably, inside its fully carpeted interior that is accented with some lovely mood lighting. Designers, NAO Design, say it is an armoured land cruiser/recreational tank, which is as adept at serving as a mobile party as it is transporting your groceries

A new range of scented candles have been designed for men who are fed up of the feminine smells and want to get in touch with their masculine side. The products shun scents like vanilla, shea butter, and lavender often used in favour of more 'manly' smells. Some of the odours include the waft of gasoline, leather, pencils, car exhaust, wood, wet grass, and money. Other fragrances are red wine, bacon and even fast food. The 'Stinky Candle Company' is the brain child of inventor Jeff Bennett who became fed up with seeing the same types of scents on sale in shops

An image taken by Nasa's Chandra X-Ray Observatory shows the young star cluster NGC 346 showing a heart-shaped cloud of 8 million-degree Celsius gas in the central region. Evidence from radio, optical and ultraviolet telescopes suggests that the hot cloud, which is about 100 light years across, is the remnant of a supernova explosion that occurred thousands of years ago. The progenitor could have been a companion of the massive young star that is responsible for the bright X-ray source at the top centre of the image. This young star, HD 5980, one of the most massive known, has been observed to undergo dramatic eruptions during the last decade
