    Good morning / evening

Cos I love you all and am curious as to what you are up to I thought I would start this thread, a concept thread I pinched from my favouritist discussion board

what you do, is you come in and tell us what you have planned... or what you did today (or every few days depends on how exciting your life is)

tis a little place you come to unload or share... and get a few words of encouragement or snuggles if you are really lucky

I wasn't gonna start it here cos I thought you were all to manly to talk about yourselves, but after reading responses to hillbilly's embassy thread I realised that there is hope for you, and you don't all have an EQ in the minuses

    so to start you off:

I am so excited at the moment cos after a few months of agonised deliberating I made the decision to leave my husband. It was painful, but now I have my own place (which is very large, giving me space to run round and dance madly to the songs in my head etc). So on my days off I am trying to make it look good, and am surprised to find that after only a week of independance I am very happy, and have almost completely stopped crying

I am also having ongoing dentist issues and had three fillings today... (more to come, will keep you informed). My dentist said "lets try this without an injection... let me know if you feel pain" :?

    Dentist: *drill drill*
Me: PFAINPFAINPFAIN *speaking with at least three hands and a drill in my mouth*
    Dentist: Can you take it?
Me: (I hate to say no to this question so I didn't) yeeashhh *drooling on my chin*
    Dentist: *drill drill*
Me: *whimpering, back slightly arched off dentist chair*
Dentist: Would you like an injection?
Me: *thinking the bitch just wants to make me beg* yesh pleash! *shame*

Then post dentist I went for a bit of retail therapy and bought a teapot and a new set of tarot cards (as I am now a single woman, I thought I might work on my witchy qualities... I have a black cat on order too)

Am now lurkin online, waiting for my wolf to show up... and contemplating my new design space... shall I go Zen? or SE Asian? or build on my already considerable obsession with all things Hindu? Interior decoration tips are welcomed - I have space and need (cheap) solutions

thank you for readin' and good evening *leaves hugs for passers-by*

I need a filling, have done for about a month now, every weekend I say to myself,"right monday I have to goto the dentist", every monday I bottle out of it, it's a well known fact that all dentists are sadists, I mean what sort of person in their right mind would want to drill holes in ppl?

As for not having the injection you must be out of your mind, I had a skin tag removed a few years ago, was about 3mm by 4 mm, I made them give me the old pain killer injection aswell, I got to admit that when I took the plaster off the next day I was a bit embarrassed, 3 days later even the scab was gone, I cause more deeper and bigger wounds than that when I have a shave.

well generally I would say pain is good for the soul, but there is something about drill hitting nerve that makes me wanna curl in a ball weeping

one pain I love is the tattooist's needle

anyway, that's another story, lol - go to the dentist DD, you will be so chuffed when it is done

Nice post hirondelle. Sorry that you suffered at the hands of the dentist but am oh so glad to see you posting that you are happy. You have had a rough time of it lately, emotionally wise and it does my heart good to read that you are getting on top of it.
I reckon that things in your life will just get better as well. I hope so anyway.

My day started off early with a get up around 8a.m.. I was expecting a phone call. Cant sleep when that happens. Breakfast was two poached eggs on toast (wholemeal) with 3 cups of real coffee. Caffetierre(sp).
Came on line and checked my mail. Nothing interesting. Dont ya hate that?
Checked Teakdoor. Nothing much as everyone was still asleep in Thailand. I am used to that now. Checked ajarn and was perplexed at posts by a bloke calling himself CHAD who accuses me of interfering with other members families. Very odd as the fokker knows nothing about me. Posted some nonsense just to catch up.

Got bored so I went for a walk. Good for thinking. Cut it short cos I forgot to switch my phone forward to my mobile. Actually I forgot my mobile as well. Felt naked.

Back to my apartment and considered making Mushroom soup. Decided to lie down for 10 mins while I thought about whether mushrooms and pumpkin would taste ok. Fell asleep again.

Got up to find my computer had turned itself off so I booted it up again and streamed in the BBC Worldservice.

    Had a shower.

Then I went down to my mates taxi depot and found that he had at least 5 drivers off so I offerred to drive one. I got a license see.

Drove a taxi for about 5 hours before coming back a bit bored. No one interesting.

Made a terrific steak sandwich and then turned on the 5th day of The Ashes.

    Its getting interesting now.

That brings me up to date.

    Still no phone call. :?

Sorry cap, I promise I'll call ya in the morning.

My day was also bornig but stressful as well.

Awoke late (8am) after watching the cricket. My closest friend has a 12 year old son who is a cricket nut (can name the captian of the aust side in 1927 etc etc) well he lives out of town and doesnt get a TV reception so I brought him home after visiting his mother yesterday arfo. He stayed the night and his mum picked him up the next morning. No school for him as they home school.

Then it was breakfast (fruit and yogurt) and off to work. Did 2 hours during which I built up the courage to have a chat with me secratary. Long time firned and worked for me for 8 years. She has had to go part time because her daughter cannot get after school care now, she said it would be a week or two and that was a few months ago. The business is struggling because other staff have to cover for her so I spoke to her just before lunch and told her that she needed to go full time or I will start to look for someone else. I told her she had 2 days to think about it and we will meet again on Wednesday for her decision. She wasnt happy and either was I.

I drove home and complained to the wife and thought I would stay home for a few hours and have some lunch. I made a quick $200 by selling a photo to the city newspaper of a plane that had crashed the day before just outside of town. I then went back to work at 3pm to help my ad rep with the layout of this weeks paper.

It is the biggest paper of the year and when i told my typesetter he chucked the shits and reckoned he wont have time to finish it. I chucked the shits back and walked out before deciding to go and finish the conversation and I didnt want to stew on it tonight. I did and was glad as we sorted it out pretty quick. Finished the layout at 6pm and came straight home. usually play touch footy on monday but that starts at 5.15pm so had missed that. Made some phone calls had dinner (sticky rice and bbq chicken) before sitting down to watch the great outdoors. We watched this as a friend of ours was the chopper pilot flying 2004 Miss universe around the bungles bugles on one of the segmants.

The missus has now gone to bed as she gets tired a lot quicker now being 7.5 months pregnant. Shit that reminds me i have got to work out how to assemble the cot!

Spent the last 2 hours alternating between watching the cricket and internet surfing.

I Still feel like crap and i think thats because of my talk with the receptionist. The worst part of being the boss is sacking people especially when you have worked together for so long and been through the real tough times together, My problem is I am too much of a softy.

I have a much larger company throwing a lot of money around wanting to buy me out at the moment and I am really starting to consider it. they are offering twice as much as what the business is worth and I could retire tomorrow if I decided to take it (I'm only 29) but my other problem is , what the hell would I do? I reckon I would go stark raving mad if I had no job.

Oh well, I could waffle on all day but I wont bore you with any more (thats if you read this far).

Thanks hirondelle, that was quite theraputic

I envy you your business MeMock. As you know I had a long career in newspapers and, as such, I understand how it gets in your blood. It is never easy making hard decisions that affect ppl's lives but it is a business at the end of the day.

Dance on mate. You have much to look forward to with your wife about to give birth. Focus on that. I certainly wish you both the very best. Has she had the ultrasound? Do you know whether its pooying or poochai?
At any rate you should know that this little community will be waiting on the happy news when your son/daughter arrives.

Its all good. I am happy for you.

btw. Dont call to early mate.

    Hey capt,

thanks for your kind words. Your right about the paper game getting into your blood, it really is a great business, good fun and it makes me money and allows me to have time off when ever I want, what the hell was I complaining about???

Anyway, onto more inportabnt things, the baby. No idea if it is a chai or a ying but we both are hoping for a ying but will just have to wait and see. It really is a scary thought that my life will be changing in a matter of weeks but I reckon I'm ready for it (as long as I get that cot assembled!!)

Captain - Thank you my friend, you have been there for me through all the tears and the fears and I am so grateful for that, I know I have told you... but this is a good chance to say publically what a dear friend you have been - you mean a lot to me sweet Captain!

*hugs MeMock* aw amazing post... you put my few words to shame and give us all something to aim for! I also have had to fire people, it isnt nice (even if they are shits and you cant wait to be rid, and much worse when they are friends) but maybe this will work out, and give her the motivation to get things sorted - I will keep my fingers crossed for you between now and Wednesday. And a baby on the way! Wah I want one, lol

*snuggles Goddess* lmao, sorry to hear about your lazy cousin... sounds like the guy needs a 'to do list' of all the places that are hiring - give him a chance before you start getting angry with him, but don't let him take advantage of you hun, it isn't worth it... not even for family... not even Thai family (been there done that, lol)

okay all, am off to bed myself.... early start tomorrow, and have to plan a workshop for 50 parents GRRRR!!! sweet dreams

Well my day is going to be a bit of an anti-climax after some of you lot, but I'll bore you all anyway.

I woke up feeling a bit grim after a post rugger drinky but still got to the office on time. I posted a load of crap on the otter channel before the internet went down. A good oportunity to do some work though. So I've done my entire week's work already.

I did a few hour's tutoring before a quick meeting with my new business partner, and got the go ahead from him to instruct the lawyer to go ahead with the company registration and the supplier in the UK to go ahead and get the shipment together. I've just got to find a premises within the next day or two, but everything else is in place. Exciting times!

Of course I've been listening to the Ashes!

I'm sorry to hear about your breakup, Hiro, but as long as they're done decently, things generally seem to work out. I'm in the same boat, but it means I can concentrate on business for a while.

Anyway, an old friend is trying to IM me, so see you in the morning. Goodnight.

I forgot to talk about breakup, sorry to hear.

I think I am in the same boat with you too but this time I am the one who do, not the one who be done. Anyways, it's not fun at all.

    My Last 16 Hours;

me foking bitch is in season.....

Last night I went to bed at just after midnite, then the dogs started, the bitch normally sleeps in the bedroom with us, but when she is on heat the male dog goes crazy so they are all locked downstairs, the bitch gets upstairs just after 1am, the dog just after 1.30am, now we got erm outside the bedroom door with him trying to shag her, and her attacking him, ok this we can't sleep through, we let the bitch in and lock the dog downstairs again,2.30am he gets upstairs again and starts trying to eat our bedroom door, 3.30am he gets upstairs again, I was now at the stage when I was gonna use the stun gun on the bastard, I like my sleep and need lots of it, ok I sorted him out and finaly got back to bed...

5.30 am the electric goes out, foking hell can a nite get worse than this? we werent using the aircon so the room heated up real quick, cant sleep through that.

    6.30am we get electric back.

I got up about 11am had a coffee played on the net and then went to work, then went to samwans for a couple of beers and now im back home wondering whether the fok I will get any sleep tonite, never buy a female dog......

*runs back in to catch up* thanks all for your warm words, actually goddess it was me who did the breaking up decision making, but I don't really think that makes it any easier - I would certainly have felt less guilt (and less inclined to leave him our apartment and 95% of the contents) if it had been mutual. Hurting him hurts... but I just know I will regret it if I stay, and worse - make his life hell.

Anyway today I was late for work for the first time since I started this job (just over a year now) and frankly I blame all of you for keeping me up so late online!! Not seriously late... 15 mins, and didn't miss a class but I am a senior teacher and on cover Tuesday mornings so it is my responsibility to make sure the teachers aren't *coughs* late. Lead from the front that's what I say!!

I have very little recollection of what I did all day so it can't have been very much use... just one of those shuffly days really. One good meeting though.

Then I went shopping and bought a pc headset so I am currently downloading skype so I can talk to the Captain who has been nagging me bout it outrageously *snuggles Cap* poor thing can't type - with his heart condition and all. I will try and work out how to use it Captain, shouldnt take more than a few weeks.

*snuggles In4zip* thanks sweetheart... I am presuming you were addressing those sparrow words to me, though you must know l'hirondelle is an altogether more elegant bird - I have felt rather sparrowlike of late. Friends help *smiles*

*laughs @ DD* a tough guy like you can't handle one randy bitch? aw poor thing!!! hope you sleep better tonight anyway!

*laughs* Skype is dead easy hirondelle. In fact I have just been chatting with another member and the connection was really good. Be aware that sometimes it aint. This is generally in high traffic times like Saturday afternoon.
Anyway, I was wanting to post something in here tonight coz I just love the concept of the thread. Sadly I had a rotten fokking day what with one thing and another so maybe I should do a morning gig. I am always up ahead of you guys anyway. So maybe I will have posted something by morning.

    Still no call. Grrr.

of course they were and I stand corrected ... swallow ... :?
anyway swallow, spread your wings now and fly away to build a happier nest elsewhere and hopefully you will be a tad more lucky next time around in selecting who eventually you will share your abode with, be it another hirondelle, moineau or whatever...

Thanks for the kind words, DD....

I'm cool; she's cool(ish). I've just got too much to do without having to worry about looking after the feelings of a GF, too. A bit harsh, but honest.

I've now got 3 months of worry to go through, hoping that my new business doesn't fall on it's arse. I'm just dreading having to deal with Thai customs & excise again.

With regard to the rest of the day - another boring one. I helped to friends make a business contact, so that's a few brownie points with whoever's upstairs.

    Adieu....
