How about a reasonable join date. I try hard to post only when I have something valid or reasonable to say... wouldn't be fair to be penalized for not shooting my mouth off all the time.

You'll get my vote just for being super human.

nice pic FF.
It certainly looks idyllic, but it's lacking that cetain oomph factor, if you do not mind me saying so.
that last one is good!
Have no intent of being competitive. We rode through two forest fires on either side of Mae Hong Son to get to this point. The haze was inescapable until we hit the valley again.
The first pic is reduced to post on a webpage with text. This was my favorite snap of the series taken while on a roadside break.

Ya see? now you got me disqualified :D

first one looks slightly on the skew, or is it just an illusion?
Think it's an optical illusion. looked fine to me, until you mentioned it. I checked the full res photo there are some small dams with water flowing over They're level in the pic.
Photo might have had more "oomph" if I wasn't so lazy and had climbed down closer to water level. We were on a ride, ostensibly, to map routes and shoot photos, so? We were also on the ride for fun. More fun to ride than to shoot photos. Last of four days, about 350-400k to make before sundown over familiar and unfamiliar roads... I just wanted to get on the road.

These pictures are not intended for competition (because they were not taken in Thailand). I just had some water related photos that I thought I would share.

I present five pictures. The first three are for the competition, if I have to choose now. Couldn't get myself to present only three.
First one a duck about to touch down.

Second a fountain

The third one "Waterboarding"
The title was not my idea. Some other visitor had the idea.

Number four

Number five Rainbow

Hope you like them
One addition to the duck photo
The duck has landed. The same duck as above, a few seconds later.

Is that like some 'Dad's Army' version of a World War II battle movie :)Quote:

Thank you. I was lucky there. Also I like the mirror image in the lake. And the reflections of the invisible bushes on the shore gives some structure to the otherwise empty water surface.Quote:

Nice pics, TO, especially of the duck and the rainbow.
