Sweet thread. I really like how you offer equal employment opportunity to butch dykes. That's big of you. :>

    Hi Man,

Great post... great looking farm !

I've looking for info on dairy farming for a while now, but hard to find in Thailand...
Could you help me with some info ? Or even better, could we visit the farm someday ?

    Thx...

Do you sell any milk to locals, or make cheese. I would be interested in both I live about 12 kilometers out of Lat Yao about 50 kilometers from Nakhon Sawan are you any where near there. If so let me know, we are on the Burma border side of Lat Yao. Hope to hear from you.

I'm thinking about starting a dairy in Laos, anyone know of anyone doing that here?? As far as I know there is only one dairy making yoghurt but they import milk from Thailand as they don't produce enough for their own needs. In fact pretty much all milk here is UHT from Thailand

Usually up at 6 start milking about 6:30, finnished by about 8:30, but being the boss I'm flexible. At the moment 1 person can do it all but it hard work on your own, we only have 1 staff so some times the misses will go and help. If we both want to get away we'll get some part time in. Afternoon start about 3:30-4:00 finnish about now 5:30....In fact I've just sat down
    RandomChances,

Are you still running the farm? If so, about where are you located? I recently started putting together a soil analysis business with a retired friend & his family out between Buriram & Surin. We need to test effects of different levels of organic content, and need a large source of manure (around 120 to 240 cubic meters to start). Any chance you could help with that?

    Cheers,

Shit, a 6 year old thread thrown up that I've never seen before.

What an amazing story. Bloody brilliant what some Ex-pats get up to in Thailand.

Wonder if this dude is still in Business ? Bloody hard life but innit.
