umm spent 16,000 on two bowls of noodle soup, 8,500 on a pack of ciggies to get change to buy the noodle soup.

so perhaps abt 100 baht so far...

Started off tame enough, decided to stay in because too hot, mrs went to school so that's 35 on songteaws + whatever for snacks. Then a haircut (60 baht but I always give him 100 because don't wanna be accused of having a cheap haircut), bread at grottini (85), bananas and other bits (240) and she reminded me we had to get some anti-scratch pads for the chair legs, so off we go to HomePro, buy the 69 baht pads, she sees a teddy bear on the way and insists he asked her to bust him out so that's another 289 just before the bedroom slippers that looked like 39 baht jobs but turned up at 249, which somehow reminded her my bolster had started to sag and we needed rechargeable batteries for the safe...long story short, walked out of HomePro 6893 baht lighter, 12 baht for a wholewheat croisant and 720 for an early fish dinner at Poo Pen on the way home. Can't be bothered counting but it's more than I expected to get through on the day and now staying in till at least midnight.

pack of smokes @ 4:00 AM 60 Baht (stil out of L&M, Marlboro are 60)
70 baht for a large beer at some bar + anohte pack of smokes (fuckin bar prices! 60 baht)
Cute girl served me another large beer price; 65 stupid tip; "Keep the change" (i'm not English you know) brings it up to 100.

I very rarely know what I spend. I very rarely want to know.
I think there is a very loose correlation at best between what I spend and how good a time I have. I am not at all addicted to spending money, but I have an aversion to counting money.
My domestic bank statement is in Thai anyway.

I'm used to the tax premium on smokes here now, but equiv of Bt45 for a lighter? I found ones "made in Thailand" for Bt15 each, but obviously the Thai manufacturers ship all their rejects here because none of them worked.
