I said I wouldn't enter this competition.
Too busy to do a thread though I'll post 'em here:

2 excellent photos Frankie. Nice effort. ;)
DD
is there any limit to photoshopping?
generally competitions require that a RAW file be submitted, I take it that is not the case here?
I'm off to Vietnam on Saturday for two weeks, if no one steals my camera I shall submit something from that trip, I've become bored of most stuff I've already taken.
Very nice, Francis. Can't green you, gotta spread.

^204kb?
^Bit harsh there Dog. It is 204000 bytes but I think Norton's entry scrapes under the bar in kBytes.

Does this screenshot mean I only have 2 goes left?
I suppose we could let it slide by, well unless his entry gets a lot of interest then we can ban that pic :)
Should have looked closer when I resized. All I saw was 199.88 KB!Quote:

FF has the photo skills and I see is using girls and senior citizens. I don't have a chance so doubt the need to ban the pic.
A bladdy technicality but I will accept the judges final decision.
DD posted under 200KB he said nothing about 200,000 Bytes
200KB = 204,800 (200 * 1024)
Save the sandwich for when you really need it! ;)
Took it back. With legal help like this I can't lose.:)Quote:

Somewhere in Chiang Rai, forgot the name of the place and the Temple. I was told this temple is being decorated (wasn't finished when we there) with white mosaic tiles and tiny mosaic size mirrors by some famous Thai artist who usually is more into making paintings - his name eludes us too now (darn I should have taken notes about all this, but was tired making the travel).

^ I've been there about 3 times over the last four years, and I don't think it's ever going to be finished.
^Yes, when are they going to get round to painting it?:)
I would like to contribute, is it too late to win ? :)
^For you, yes.
Anyway here is my second picture hot off of todays press, taken at the border point in Baan Laem and Daung.

Jesus DD you tight git, for a few baht I'm sure those screbby kids would have moved out of the way whilst you took the photo:)
I aint entering.
i have seen the ones bustak is mulling over.
all 100 on his short list are better than i could take whatever equipment i used.
It's not the winning, it's the taking part.
Besides with all our niks we might be able to fix the vote
I want to see an effort from Tristram. Perhaps Isaan cheese making?
Exactly! as evidenced by the shite i uploaded a few pages back:)Quote:

same parade with a drum major.
Little bit different where I come from. Here, there was a drum major every 20 yards. Must have been 50 in all throughout the morning. Easy on the eyes though :)

All pics taken with a sony P200 basic camera
If you save the photo and then load it into a suitable program it will give you the info.Quote:

^What a shame :) 268kb :)
I've just got my camera out to post what it is, and I see that smartie-pants Knicka has already posted the information. I'll say it anyway. Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom.Quote:
