I was looking for a picture of book toilet paper. Nothing personal slap, but it will be absorbent I would assume. Anyway, interesting pictures pop up.

... and the one that will see this post deleted by the TDMA

Try it, report your findings on these pages.

Anyway, a major perk of living in Asia - no arse paper necessary.

Anyone who's spent a prolonged stint in siam and plans to return to the west should brace themselves for unpleasantness come toilet time. It's a proper fucking chore, I can tell thee.

Already bought a collection of bumguns just in case although getting the mixer tap right for winter time is going to be a problem.

Being in the West IS a pain...

When you do the missus doggy-style, and she hasn't had a shower before bed (it's Winter), the gross aroma wafts up. Puts you right off your stroke, it does.

That's odd. I released a batch of 5000 copies to the Petchaburi governer just last week.

I'll chase it up for you, Chaz. Nil desparandum...

He sold them to the walking street gogo's. PAges are folded up and tucked down the front of bikini and panties to stop the ladies camel toe showing.

    Its a fitting end.

I downloaded a copy from Amazon. Neat book, quite entertaining and good for a few laughs. None of the stuff that Slap has posted on TD is in the book, so it’s all fresh material. Would have liked to read more about Por, but maybe that’s not possible owing to the quantity of LK imbibed numbing even the sharpest of minds.

I should imagine his readership will be confined to the lower end who mostly derive their income from hard labour and who, of course, are not noted for their literacy.

Dreadful, quite dreadful. Toilet graffiti has more merit than this re- cycled, hackneyed, unimaginative tosh.
I have just discovered this thread and this!

An excellent and vivid criticism indeed but was certainly not directed at Slap's tome. Someone had evidently pasted it with neither my knowledge nor consent. In fact, i can't recall the book it was aimed at but it was absolute trash.

I didn't even know Slap had written an account of his experiences but I do recall from somewhere he was garnering interest from some newspaper or other and was awaiting a commission.

Best of luck to him. I know a bit about Amazon publishing and understand that a better strategy to sell more copies is to pitch the price as low as possible, around the £1.99 mark. This might seem modest recompense but in truth most established authors who get published are lucky to receive £1 out of every sale by the time the publishers and retailers take their cut.

Perhaps Slap would like to PDF me a copy and I can offer a review likely to entice readers in their thousands?

I believe old Slap is working on a second tome, if I'm not mistaken [he mentioned some time back].

Something to look forward to from TD's master tale spinner!

Bollocks!!! & of the highest order too!!!

Everything the Senor Slaps de Sneakyville does has been tested out on us first!

Funnily enough, as I was walking across the zebra crossing towards the supermarket to buy some tea and Guinness, I saw something that made me think of Slaps and his tramp friend:

    Cycling should be banned!!!

    What fucking chum?

The fat bastard has 2 kinds of social interaction - work acquaintances who can't avoid him, and strangers he meets on bicycle rides that feel sorry for him.

There is a reason he has chosen to try the solitary life of a writer.
