Well we've just had a bit of a turnover at work and the office has just been turned upside down.

I'm not kidding either - this just happened 2 days ago. Fortunately noone was onboard at the time, but it's been fun watching management running around.
You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me.

^^ Leaky bottom (which management had been told about but didn't want to spend money on), combined with very strong winds, inadequate anchors and an inconvenient reef.

Luckily all of my instruments were off and I'm already set up on another vessel, but the annual bonus isn't looking good.

Basically because of the huge amount of queerslanders living in WA.

CMN I love your commute pics and also those of Baldrick and SBF !!!! What a wonderful idea... they are truely beautiful insights into life in Thailand, Sing and China. Don't you think the doorways are particulary stunning in all the pics, especially in China?

I finally got around to take some pictrues while driving to work. The oncoming traffic must have thought I am a bit crazy taking pictures with the right hand while driving.

    Anyway, here we go.

First out to the main street we are about to leave Hamburg:

Then turn right to enter the city again

Lots of garden shops in this area.

Construction ahead, otherwise it would be a smooth 15 minute commute.

Though I was luckier than the long row of cars on the other side:

At last two lanes per direction

    Finally arrived

I am sure you can feel the excitement to drive this way every day. Sometimes I take a short nap at the traffic lights.

Surprisingly well. She just finished her language course so tomorrow we will go to the immigration again and then hopefully we have our peace from them for the next two years.

Only problem is the neighbour's crazy wife but I am back late and the wife is pretending to not understand them.

Re. settling in, she just got the new residence permit yesterday. Just hand in her passport, both of us signing that we are still living together, get a new sticker in the passport and then: "see you again in january 2012". Compare that to the hassles in Thailand.

Step out of apartment building, admire the misty hills before cussing about the cold

Walk for 10 mins by this road laughing at bouts of road rage

I trust you ate a hearty breakfast before embarking on that hazardous juotney.
