^ Me, too. I was wondering exactly where that mall is. If in the area, will make it a point to go.

Maybe Misskit can explain this...

Sounds about right.
Check the angle of the oncoming cars. If it was as steep as it appears then the angle of the cars would almost be an over-head view.
Grade is 6.1% which is 3.5 degrees. Twice plus the Rama 9 bridge.
until they fart.
^^^^ Looks like they added a little chicane or kink on that slope. Perhaps trying to reduce the speed a la formula 1. Not sure that will do much good. :scratchchin:
Imagine having a bridge with a slope like that in Thailand. There might be a brake failure or two (per day) there.

In this funny photo we see two suspicious-looking buildings near Liar’s Bridge in Sibiu, Romania. Seeing faces in random objects and buildings is actually quite common, in fact the psychological phenomenon even has a name—pareidolia.

A Banyan is a fig that starts its life as an epiphyte (a plant growing on another plant) when its seeds germinate in the cracks and crevices on a host tree (or on structures like buildings and bridges). “Banyan” often refers specifically to the Indian banyan (Ficus benghalensis), which is the national tree of India, though the term has been generalized to include all figs that share a characteristic life cycle.

Ascher Guesthouse, Switzerland
Ascher Guesthouse is located next to the Wildkirchli caves and below the Ebenalp cliff (Ebenalp is the northernmost summit of the Appenzell Alps in Switzerland) the was Guesthouse carefully built into the side of a mountain during the 19th century. The Swiss call it “Berggasthaus” which means a Mountain-Guesthouse. It is a Matratzenlager (dormitory). It has several rooms with large mattresses that are designed to throw a sleeping bag on, it is not fancy but the scenery is breath taking, and there is also a nice restaurant there too.
Sorry boys i will put info up with the next one.
If you want a sausage roll call me, we deliver :)

This is the amazing picture thread, not the "Where am I - Photo Guessing Game" thread.
Anyone worth their salt and/or remotely interested has already googled <Alpine Gasthuas> and found it.
If it was not so obvious maybe I would have asked but as I'm not likely ever to go there...
The amazing pictures here should stand on their own merit and need no explanation from the poster.
