I live in a cul-de-sac. Today they dug up the open end to lay drains across the opening. I'm stuck at home. Nowhere I wish to go is within walking distance.
Now waiting for them to dig up the water supply

^ They can't afford real software engineers to write web stuff...any kid will do, it seems.

You do not need software engineers to configure vBulletin. That is the platform that this site is built on. You can scroll down to the bottom of the page to see that, it is a dead platform, most modern forums use xenforo.

Well one of the worst meals i've had in the air in a long time.

It started with a lolly affair of indeterminate meat with some house plant leaves covering its embarrassment

    Daily Moan-1-jpg

it was followed by seared tuna, which was kind of ok but on sea of mango and pineapple dices and then weirdly some strawberries and slimey mushies in a fairly overpowering sauce - tuna eaten the rest tossed back to the waitress in teh hope the main event will be better

    Daily Moan-2-jpg

Well it wasn't, a fillet steak asked for rare, it came with mash and a fairly bland aubergine etc. The steak as you can see is pretty much medium if is was going to be charitable but what was worse is it was like shoe leather - i returned it after the first mouthful and she asked i would like the turbot but just asked for the cheese board, and nearly 1 and 1/2 bottles of a very nice Bordeaux rescued the situation.

When I flew back to Thailand last month I spoke to a passenger who flew in with Qatar. He said the food was rubbish and he won't fly with them again.

Do people really judge an airline and flight by the food they serve?

For me it's about comfort and entertainment options. But then again I don't eat airplane food except maybe some fruit or an ice cream. I hate the feeding times, especially international flights. The entire airplane stinks like food.

Afraid not, sorry. I have lived a faultless 25 years since my final fall from grace and all I can offer you is some Air Macau or Royal Brunei teaspoons if they'd fit your collection?

All I do these days, well for quite a while now is ask for the vanity packs for the littluns in the family, i scored 4 on my last flight but they aren't as flash as they were 10 years ago when they made nice make up bags for the girls in the family.

    I suppose that's another moan.

I will confess i have a holdall with about 45 nice packs in, but they weren't artful dodgered they were freely given - i keep meaning to give them away to a kids orphanage along with the pajamas sets in another holdall but keep forgetting, i suspect they wouldn't get to the kids anyway.

Don't worry, you'll arrive at your destination at the same time. No point wasting your money on the travel, you'll have more money to spend at a decent restaurant when you arrive.
