You've flounced from here in a hissy-fit half a dozen times.

And to be honest, it would probably be quite beneficial to your life if you did focus on other things.

You've got to love UK Rail companies.

I booked a journey as always weeks in advance and as has become the norm, upon booking they tell you to check your journey before and on the day of travel!, why?

This is to ensure there is no disruption, meaning lazy cvnts striking or working to rule to maintain their Victorian employee contracts that mean they get a day off for crossing from one platform to another to have a piss or some such shite and will likely be too hard pressed to turn up for work. Sooo check the schedule!

Sure enough my train was cancelled and the lone employee informed be that i could wait 2 hours for the next direct train or i could ( here he helpfully printed it out) change trains three times and get to my destination a mere 1 hour and 45 minutes late.

Now all that is behind me and not a peep informing me in advance of the clusterfuk they are going to visit on my future journey, no, oh no but their IT system is more than capable of Emailing me after the fact to request that I give them feedback on how my journey was and how the customer service was - the fukin journey they cancelled and chose instead to replace with a fukin orienteering course.

I have chosen not to response as its too impersonal, instead i am going to give my survey feedback in person, provided the train will get me there.

Is that the best you can do? You know i sometimes wonder why you ended up locked into a life in Thailand after you travelled to four other countries and then i realise its obvious - you found your level with the chickenheads and added to the population

Yelling at a jobsworth on the platform or a lady in a ticket booth might be satisfying but won’t be logged or recorded in customer feedback and therefore be useless

Smashing up a train or ticket office might be satisfying but it won’t get you your 1 hour and 45 minutes back.

Think positively, Mike. Count it as just a part of the rich tapestry of life in the UK.

Or bus. Train companies often replace trains with buses if there is disruption to a railway line service.

I much prefer a train to a bus but I understand that engineering work has to be done, even on railway lines.

Personally I prefer driving to using public transport (except in London). Why a man of means would use the train instead of driving his own car is a bit of a mystery.

Oh. There is that, of course. Much easier to do that on a train.

Paying for the teachers no doubt.
We could have all gone for two weeks for that price.
Still, it will be a great geological experience for them and their friends.
