Slowly sorting out the Mooban problems especially regarding the garbage collection.

There are 4 pool villas attracting a lot of Bangkok Hi-So's in fact we had 2 bus loads arrive Friday night.

A fucking nightmare regarding the buses blocking the Mooban entrance and the rubbish they generated which they just dumped outside the front entrance.

The owner of the offending house turned up later in the day and I told him he needs to instruct someone to keep the entrance clear and the rubbish taken out the day of collection by the council.

His excuse is "Mai Me Veila" he doesn't have time to take care and I told him he is a lazy grunt.

Nearly come to blows and I showed him the sign the council put up (NOT ME) warning anyone who puts rubbish there will receive a 5,000 Baht fine.

He then went all quite but had the typical gob shite smirk on his face. Grunt.

^ Good To hear LT. I did my walk/jog this morning and the amount of garbage in bags and not in bags is really staggering. I saw quite a bit of what you mentioned. Garbage stashed up by a gate blocking entrances. Some nicely bagged and then people that just throw loose garbage on top of the bags. It's amazing that they can't figure out the garbage can or Trash Bin program. Sure clean up a lot.

The main beach after the international firework show was littered from the street to the water. They had tractors this morning picking it all up.

I'm not being a grammar Nazi, just trying to get this straight.

Is she the eldest girlfriend, meaning you have at least three current girlfriends amongst whom she is the eldest?
    Or
Is she the eldest's girlfriend, meaning the one girlfriend of your firstborn?

    Probably the latter.

That post looks way too complicated for Homer 90's underpowered brainbox, though.

In this case no instructions from the stupid fuckwit Thai Chinese c-nt who owns and rents out the pool vila illegally for 30,000 baht a night.

The fucker is making at least 900,000.00 baht a month and he has no time to clean up or make arrangements.

Fuck him and the water buffalo he rode in on.

By the way the missus told me I am pushing the limits regarding being knocked off with these clowns but fuck that.

I will never back off from any filthy, degenerate, lazy fucker.

    I've got three Lulu.

A pearl profeesional kit and another local cheap kit that sounds OK and an electric stack which is also OK.

If you have the tools and the talent then all three kits will sound good.

    Which one do you fancy?

Our mooban has a 2 time a week garbage pick up. You don't have an option not to pay as they have a govt annual fee collector come by every house in January. You pay one time for a year and done. The grand poobah leader does his PA announcement 2 weeks before and reminds everyone a few times before they come. It's 500 bht a year. Keeps our mooban/village very clean. The colored trash bin program would never work. Roads to narrow for a large garbage truck to navigate to pick up.

I do separate recyclables and once a month set out with the garbage which I know they keep and turn in themselves for a little bonus.

However big metro type areas should have proper bins and pick up. Sure help the area. I am slowly seeing more and more of them.

We got bins this year, progress! They are like blue plastic oil barrels with no lids. I don't know how much they cost yet. They appeared at random houses, my one neighbour got one, the two others did not. My neighbour's bin soon vanished, of course he had a plan. I told the gf I'd continue to take my rubbish downtown because a bin with no lid is worse than useless in a street full of dogs.
So I was taking my rubbish away and my bin was filling up. Of course all the neighbours were using it.
Inevitably the dogs tipped it over and ate anything possible and the street was covered in crap. I waited, no one bothered so I cleaned up.
    Rinse and repeat.
After cleaning up the second time, making sure one neighbour saw me tutting about with a litter picker and a strong bag, I stuck the empty bin round the back of my house. I still don't use it.
If they had the courtesy to clean their crap away or to devise something to stop the dogs tipping the bins over then we could happily share one bin.
    They don't, so we don't.

And people are shocked when people kill soi dogs. They are basically just bigger rats in my opinion.

Honestly Shu it takes a full effort by residents to keep it clean and moreover eradicate soi dogs.

I am one that is totally against feeding soi dogs. While I get the whole "Try and help" it really only makes it worse. I like our mooban leader. I have met and spoke with him quite a few times. Feeding soi dogs is not allowed and when someone sees it, they complain and the grand poobah always makes sure to announce it. In the past we had many and some attacked people, others just piss and shit all over, others tore up bags and spread garbage everywhere so the rules were put in place and now it's not a problem and we do not have any around.

They're basically the animal version of the homeless though, aren't they?

No doubt many of them ended up there originally after some local changed their mind about wanting a pet, so I think we have a bit of responsibility ourselves.

If humans were half as kind as dogs usually are, such problems wouldn't exist in the first place.

In my part of rural Isan most of the dogs have homes, we only occasionally have vagrant visitors. The thing is, apart from mine, they are all free to roam, few people have gates. The dogs are fine, no biters or anything, but obviously if you put out food waste they are going to find it. So it is their rubbish plus their dogs. I guess for a while they were congratulating themselves on being so smart. They aren't bad people, they simply seem not to think past the next meal.

I think that we have all been there.

At first it's hard to believe that they want to live in something that looks like a dump.

Then you get to talk to them and find out that they are actually ashamed to look at all that plastic etc.

But many has given up long ago.

You clean your land in the morning and in the the afternoon breeze you get the neighbors shit for free.

I remember when driving around in Isaan, I actually took notice of "clean" villages.

The problem in my Moo Baan is the pigeons. Not the little doves but big town pigeons. Someone in the village started leaving food out for them. Then someone else started. I told the wife that they are nothing more than flying rats. She said they were cute and the people feeding them were very kind.
Now we've got hundreds of the f*#king things.
Do not walk beside me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me for I may not follow. Just pretty much leave me the fuck alone!
