That's a generous offer. You might be underestimating my general incompetence with manual tasks.
You can see the deep scratch left behind when cousin had a go at it this morning. Probably he used a hoe or something.
Maybe I am overthinking this but I'm reluctant to start what I might not finish. First tool I see I'd need is a small screwdriver. I'd need to turn off the water pump, so if I take this apart and cannot put it back together we'll have no water in the house. If it is a washer I need then I don't have one, do they sell them in mixed sizes? Probably some kind of wrench too. I guess some of that tape you use to tape up plumbing fittings. Or maybe just buy a new tap, are hey standard inlet/outlet sizes?
