^ Thanks again ootai. Thankfully this morning's post caught me pre-Ya Dong and I was able to apply myself to your detailed solution, although I have to admit I'm still not altogether happy about it.

These past papers usually have around 20 questions, 2 of which seem to be incredibly difficult and are apparently designed to pick out the exceptional Maths students. My daughter seems to be much more language/arts oriented and Maths doesn't come naturally, so as we discussed, I'm concentrating on exam tactics. She's perfectly capable of passing these exams by focusing on the easier questions and getting them correct without making the silly mistakes. So long as she can identify the really difficult couple of questions she can leave them alone unless she has a bit of time spare at the end, and then have a bash.

I'm not sure she would want me to sit the exam... but if I could get ootai into the daughter's school uniform, then we could be talking.

Sorry ootai, but before you start shaving your beard off, in actual fact this is a proper school and the teachers aren't even allowed to accept a Christmas/end of year present etc worth more than 200 Baht. It is possible to get good International School education in Thailand but the schools certainly aren't all the same.

It appear so from the pic, but no it's a right handed 10 iron that can take a pigeon out of the sky.

I've got a couple of sets of clubs, right and left.

    All the irons,woods etc.

Cost buttons from car boot sales.

The Golfers gravitated from the snobbery of the golf course about 15 years ago to the road and cycling in these parts.

Now these expensive, selective and so called exclusive golf clubs who once held interviews for membership and preferred you to have a massive salary are condemned to bingo, all you can eat bbq nights and yoga to entice paying customers through their doors and onto their for now perfectly manicured greens.
    Shalom

With the tourists, come the police stops.

Tax sticker is 6 months out of date, actually had it renewed 2 weeks ago but couldn't be arsed putting into the holder because haven't seen a police stop in 3 years.

Though I do like their face when they say 500 baht

    Ohh, 300 baht okay mai?
    Okay.

Then you give them a 500 baht note.

you overpaid was the first mistake, secondly you paid. You should just have started babbling at them in Swedish chefanese and they'd have waved you on.

Never ever speak to them in Thai and don't speak to them in English, i've found they would rather wave you on and find and easier mark.

Man you are lucky. Just did the trek from Lampang to Chonburi. 6 on the way there on AH1, 7 on the way back 10 days later. Only one pulled me to the side and tried to pilfer me out of 1000 bht for driving in the fast lane to long. I said Nope. Wife said Nope. On our way we went.

Indeed. I have front and rear. Great deterrent for those random money gathering events.

Apparently that lane is to be used to over take slower traffic. I am never in the slow lane....ever because I am always blowing by slower traffic. Add to that the slow lane on AH1 is crap so why beat my ride up...

Passengers getting restless, we should be boarding now but no plane. Flightaware is showing 1 hour delay but it hasn't been announced, still showing normal time on the board.

Do I tell everyone or remain at the bar?

They've announced it now, although not how long the delay. They're all stood queueing at the gate, which means there's plenty of room at the bar. I've got to drive tonight so will stick to two...time for a bite to eat.
