Don't usually follow or note the price of petrol. Just filled a car and saw it's now 44b a litre.
Fokin ell, was 16-17b a litre when Covid was in full swing.
Bladdy Ukraine not giving in to mother Russia. -_-
Same price here. I just put 500B in.
A 1000b didn't even fill up my March today. Gutted.
New neighbor moved in a few doors down apparently. His f*cking yappy dog went off for best part of an hour starting at 6am. I was well not amused. Messages will be passed.....
Could always use poison.
One that's quick and painless, to be humane.
Then take the orphaned dog to an animal shelter.
My Hilux is up for Reg. Wife and I went by our local tech service, hole in the wall, coffee shop/center to get it cert'd. The "Tech" ( I use that term loosely) looked at the truck and wasn't going to pass my truck because of my PIAA HID fog lights mounted on my front bumper. I was like "WHAT"...Get out of here. My wife quickly jumped in and started debating with the guy and said where is that rule/law? He couldn't really come up with a suitable answer but said next time they have to be covered. I laughed. Anyway after a bit of cross eyed looks Tech done, Licensed for another year and my lights are still as they were.
You can only laugh because many of the vehicles I see driving around these parts are rolling death traps for the most part. How do they pass tech?
Don’t think their owners bother, stumps.
Stumpy
While i agree that there are a lot of vehicles out there that could not possibly pass a true certification test, I can't help but wonder why the hell you have fog lights on your "truck".
I put truck in commas because only an American would call a "Ute/Pickup" a truck FFS.
Anyway boys and their toys I suppose may provide the answer.
Yeah us Mercans call them pick up trucks primarily because they have a bed and are not a utility vehicle "Ute". We apply the Utility vehicle term when it has a special or custom section with doors, panels etc.
As for the Fog Lights, again a generic term. They are actually HID driving lights for use in heavy rain and very dark roads. I have used them a few times here but not often. Seems silly they would single them out like it's a problem here when we know( us living here) that a huge number of cars and "Utes" are rolling wrecks which are accidents waiting to happen. But TIT as we know.
My flaming tooth crown fell out tonight.
It's been bugging me for two years but I've been unable to visit my dentist because of covid.
Luckily the appointment I booked 3 months ago is tomorrow!
Yeah, every silver cloud and all that cal.
England only has one dentist.
