I went to Tesco. I could stop there, that is a moan already.
I wanted some liquid hand soap and some liquid laundry detergent, amongst other stuff. Now I try to do my bit for the environment so obviously I chose the refill packs in bags because I already have the plastic dispenser bottles and I can refill them and feel good about myself.
Hang on! While my mental arithmetic isn't as good as it used to be things didn't look right. I got the trusty calculator fired up on the phone and sure enough, in both cases it was cheaper per cl to buy the original plastic bottles than to buy the refill bags.
So Tesco will sell me the 'environmentally friendly' option on which they already enjoy a greater profit margin at a higher price for an even greater profit margin and snigger at me for being an idiot consumer, happy to increase their profit whilst they pose as offering the green option. Bunch of cvnts.
I bought the cheaper plastic dispenser bottles. They will get recycled.
In case you buy Saeng Som, the 1 litre bottle is more expensive per cl than the 75cl bottle. Obviously.

I couldn't figure out why I was going through mobile data. I checked a bunch of things and even downloaded NetGuard to shut off data for each app.

Turns out the developers at Telegram have an auto download feature on any video you watch. And its the default setting when you get the app.

Brilliant idea. You fucking idiots ! One star incoming.

I have ummed and ahhed a lot over replacing the pick up with another car or a 7 seater type thingy but fook me every time we go somewhere for a few days the bed and inside seem to fill themselves up when im not looking. I cannot imagine how we'd get by with a tuner or mitsu.

    Jeez it's hot out here!

I'm in danger of getting sunstroke tidying up the garden, time for a trip to the swimming pool to cool off methinks.

My mum has got to the point where she needs cataracts taken care of. The waiting list for treatment in Cardiff? 3 YEARS. She would be 90 by then. She will go private. 3,500 pounds. Per eye.

Ok. I guess that's a no. I just wonder why Willy was allowed to do it twice since 2019. But no problem.

Three years is outrageous. £7,000 is a tidy sum. Did you offer to just get one eye done?

Its been said before but..... i went to 5 different electrical goods shops yestetdays checking out 50 inch+ TVs and looking at biting thd bullet and changing to a front loader washing machine and the usual ensued. Walk in and you are immediately shadowed by some gimpy bloke who assumes you have neither researched what you want or can read the specs presented. As usual they get told we don't need help and as usual this studiously ignore as they hover making inane comments based upon no practical knowledge.

By shop three after lunch we decided to see just how far one of them would follow us, was like a Benny Hill sketch.

So fed up by shop 4 we were just going through the motions price checking.

With travel it felt like a wasted day, but got the TV with more acronyms than an Asian manufactured car.

It might have been a bit of a challenge for the staff that he didn’t seem to know whether he wanted a tv or a washing machine, tbf.

The bright part would have been seeing what you get in the 50+ inch range these days for not a lot of money. They're practically giving them away these days, my first 55 inch TV cost something like 60k Baht!
