    ^^ Thanks.

Well, had to have an old root canal taken out and was scared shitless about that. Turned out to be a big nothing. However, that little bit of plastic they gave me to fill the space is driving me nuts. On to the graft.

I do wish I were having it done in Thailand. Wouldn’t me costing nearly as much!

It'd be tragic for a pussy to have to tfish it out of teh ass every morning, dentures from the galss that is.

Michael Caine explained the French for dentures is Aperitif, not a lotta people know that..............

Thanks for the kind words from TD members...

Grand niece was finally diagnosed with lymphoma cancer but I haven't heard what stage it is at. She is being treated at the same hospital in Udon Thani rather than having to travel to Kon Khaen and has to have chemo every two weeks.

There is some good news, she had been unable to walk since leaving hospital a couple of weeks ago and her legs have been rigid, unable to bend at the knees, although she could feel her toes and had cramps in her calf muscles. Anyway, after the first session of chemo she was taken to a temple on the way home and was able to walk, aided, down the temple steps after the visit. The hospital gave her a wheelchair and a 'Zimmer' frame and she is able to walk a little with the aid of the frame at home. She looked really good on Sunday, even did a little jig in the 'Zimmer' for the video
    chat.

I love to see a fighter, one who won't give up despite all that's thrown at them, and hope she gets a lucky break and pulls through. I hope I manage to get back to see her soon and make life a little more comfortable for her.

Thanks again to all with their kind thoughts...

Feel for you and Mrs Troy not being able to get back to see her. Fingers crossed the treatment works, it is amazing how resilient kids are. Knew a couple who's kid was going through cancer treatment and it was the lad who was consoling his mum and dad. I'm sure the promise of a Hols with Uncle and Aunty Troy will bolster her.

^ Whatever the perceived problems with TD, and those that like to squabble, it is nice to know someone is out there when you need some sort of support when times are bad.

There have been a few TD members that have succumbed to the big C and I'll always remember the way it helped Mr Lick in his final months, despite the few that pestered him.

I can't recall a time when I have felt as sad as I do now; I'd give anything to allow someone so young half the life I have had...

Willy meant deity, of course, and . . . absolutely. The young lady sounds like a real fighter.

    You should, get it !
I love mine. It is always hanging at my kitchen wall charging, ready for any little mess on the floor.
No way would I do that if I had to fish out the old vacuum cleaner out of the closet, untangle the log cord, and plug it in an outlet, then wind the cord agai and put it away.
Also quick and easy remove the blue tube, put on the car attachment , and vacuumed the car.
Trust me when I tell you, if you get it, you will love it.

I was in Makro and noticed that the Thai brand of black pepper grinder is twice the size and half the price of the McCormick product. Yes, result, I'll have one of those!

    What can possibly go wrong?

^ The annoying thing is as well, they didn't even fill it with pepper corns... there's an inch gap. They could have made the pot an inch shorter so it could fit on your shelf and still filled it with as much pepper!

so you buy a cordless for 3 times the price of a regular corded. The reason being that its too much trouble to fetch the corded one out and plug it in. The at some unspecified future point the battery on this marvel of progress shits itself leaving you to either buy another battery or junk the whole thing, either way likely much sooner than a corded one and adding to the growing waste catastrophe. That's progress

When we get older and maybe with arthritis the Makro one has a bigger area to grip when using.
