I always found my Thai companions most understanding.

Gave them a chance to order some room service, watch HD TV or natter to each other.

Those days look to be over I suspect.

My current role is ensuring my 50 Durian trees continue to grow. The rainfall is coming back, fertilizing the roots and foliage as required.

A few fruits from the older trees currently ripening.

The others quietly heading for the stars, pumping oxygen out to keep Trat province CO2 negative.

    Allegedly:

"Becoming carbon negative requires a company, sector or country to remove more CO2 from the atmosphere than it emits. Meeting ambitious international climate goals may require global CO2 emissions to fall below zero in the second half of this century, achieving what is known as net negative emissions."

"A little bit of loving, a little bit of heartache, A little bit of loving, a little bit of heartache."

Enough for my peace of mind.

I had to water the garden last night, i cannot recall ever having to do that in April. Even the Bay tree was showing signs of distress. Still its looking nice and fresh this morning.

Everywhere else: Takes the sensible precaution of not allowing flights from India
Mongolia: Brings in a plane load of Indians and a few Mongolians who'd been working there.

I guess 2021-2022 will be spent confined to an apartment. FFS

I appear to have torn / inflamed the extensor tendon in my right foot and the cat threw-up in my bedroom at about 4 AM.

So that's nice, just waiting for the 3rd now...

I'm just gonna assume you injured yourself by slipping on the cat puke. Am I right?

The 3rd will probably be a foot infection from said felines effluence.

Haha no but that would've been a better story.

Sadly the prosaic truth is I went for a 5km walk yesterday and seems my shoes are a bit shit and lack the proper support.

How f*cking difficult is it to shut a door? The back door has a solid wood external door and a second inside grill door. During the day we leave the solid door open, and the grill door is supposed to be shut.

Six months go we had a monitor lizard in the house as the grill door was not shut properly. So, I have made a point (several times) in stressing the inner door should be shut.

Three f*cking times this morning I have shut the grill door.

We have discussed the issue again. Her indoors is now in a snit.

Assuming the laces weren't done up too tight, it's probably just an overuse injury (feet not used to walking that far) rather than the shoes lacking support.

So not even a gym injury?

So the phrase now needs to be "Bro, do you even walk?"

    Kinda lacks a little pizzazz

Have you tried putting your feet in a bowl of iced water. I usually do this during the hot spells in Thailand to reduce foot swelling. Works wonders...
...most of the Thai female relatives do this now after slaving on the farm.

For a long shot we had a go at a couple twice, The one i thought might have a chance I planted about less than a foot away from the fish pond and all were in the shade, The heat and dryness up here killed them all in the first dry season. I know it was a long shot but worth a try.
