Seriously, powder sack, crack and feet everyday. Or be itchy
Those things really exist? Please can you give me a link to the retro shop you use?
To be honest Lom, the main reason I wear them is to maintain modesty around the garden. I'm not so worried about the missus but the daughter's at an impressionable age and talks about stuff to her classmates, and of course there's the gardener...
I'll give it a try... it just never ends...
Friend had that on the nuts. Waited 2 days.
Resulted in amputation.
Oh well, sleep well Mendy.
Menthol prickly heat powder is the way to go Mendy.
Otherwise the rash will get worse.
Had it a few times in Thailand and the relief is instantaneous.

Mendips wife will go bananas (sic)
If you have had fungal infections badly in the past, your skin can sometimes develop them more easily thereafter.
And don't forget, if you get rid of it on your skin, you may be later re-infecting yourself from the fungus still existing in the material of your pants. That's why you can buy ketaconazole to soak clothes in.
BTW, Canesten is pretty crap and slow-acting. All it does is stop fungus reproducing. What you want is something like Lamasil, which actively kills it.
Unseasonably cold here atm, i'd trade here for Mendip's nappy rash and the heat that caused it.
In the past when I got a similar rash and used prickly heat powder it never worked for me.
So I eventually found a cream/gel called "Ungvita" which works a treat for me.
It is a vitamin A gel and smells fishy but it is magic as far far as I am concerned particularly for chafes.
I have been unable to walk due to the chafe and once I use the Ungvita I can walk without any issues and the rash is gone by the next morning.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.
I used to use prickly heat regulary, but eventually realized that it was just masking the symptoms, not sorting them out.
In all honesty, get thee to a decent dermatologist for a long term solution if the cream does not put you right.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
I'll start with Canesten and work through the others.
Nid, it would have to be a female dermatologist to go rummaging around down there.
Edit: Apart from the skirt idea that is. That won't happen.
I've used Canesten Creme for mild fungal infections between the toes and Snake brand Prickly Heat Cooling Powder for mild heat rashes on my body. Would stress 'mild' in both cases...cannot comment for worse cases.
