FFS look at the bigger picture.

How hard is it to feed your children a healthy packed lunch as opposed to soggy chips and shit pizza supplied at extortionate rates by school suppliers.

Food is cheap as... forgive the pun "chips".

The bigger picture is mortgages, fvcking council tax, water you won't drink, gas, electric, insurance after insurance, taxes on taxes.

Fvck off Marcus Rashford "MBE" and Co!

    Rant over.
A piece of fruit, a sandwich , chocolate bar and a drink.

New to me house. Starter has gone on a bathroom light, but ceiling is high.
To replace a 15 baht starter I have to buy a 1300 baht ladder.

While you're at it replace the neon tube with a LED tube and leave the starter holder empty..

Search domestic flights in the morning for 2 months time.

    Go out.

Come back to book them in the afternoon and they've more than doubled in price.

Excluding work, which is going swimmingly at the moment, the rest of 2020 can go straight to the top of my shit-list.

Be philosophical, that 1300 ladder allows you to change loads more starters, and do other things that would each require another 1300 investment.

Wife is getting a little depressed about not being able to travel back for Christmas/New Year in Thailand.

We agreed minimum was 2 week isolation at home and not in Bangkok hotel....

...but Europe has got a whole lot worse lately and there are too many elderly in the village.

So no Thailand and now no plan B to see my Dad in England for Christmas.

Looks like we are stuck in Bavaria until next Summer now...

To be fair, there are worse places to be stuck over Christmas.

Presuming there will still be some Christmas markets allowed to operate. I'd weigh 200kg come Spring.

Lucky you, an influential Thai also spends much of the year there; play it right, couple up, and you might get visa waivers.

Not a moan just an observation, but arrived in BKK and the airport / MRT is eerily quiet.

    Bit spooky even.

It's more unsettling when you arrive at the airport to leave Thailand and the flights indicator board, of maybe 150 flights, has only 2 indicated as not being cancelled.

Waiting for your flight to appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the board, to show your airlines check-in counters open at xxx hour, is more than unsettling.
A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.
