Nope, bread slicer . . . specifically for bread. Wouldn't bacon slicers have a smooth blade, not serrated?

    $2,300 for this bread slicer.

No wonder you don't see many of them around.

I can't see how a meat slicer would work either.

Trying to be fair and pay for your content is, in my experience, full of problems...Here's the latest problem from Amazon Prime:

The same content has worked for months, but Amazon's endless 'smart' BS seems to have introduced a new barrier. Fukwits...

At some point, you give up and just go to download sites...

Hunters is on torrent sites and not bad and made by Amazon Prime, although you've probably seen it

I'm a bit bored today as it's just too hot outside to do anything, so I started a bit of banter with the daughter and she called me a 'retard'.

That's not my moan, nothing unusual there... but she was in the middle of an online video conference lesson and had forgotten to mute her microphone.

The look on the teacher's face.

Funny I used it once with my daughters when they were at uni in America, specifically California that has gone to PC.... I got so much poop from them about that being a very derogatory term. Well sorry girls when I was young we used that term. Learned a lesson. Dont use retard around your kids..

...probably a number of other derogatory terms you used when younger that are still considered offensive...

my middle ones third word was bugger, she came out with in sainburys and had only started talking that week. It came out as ugga but my Mrs knew straight away what it was and where she'd got it.

I uttered "shit" when the online classroom's video came on and my mug suddenly appeared on the screen.
Another kid's parent must have said it earlier that day too; In the text chat on the side some kid had asked someone"why did you say poop"
There must be loads of instances out there of kids walking with their tablets into bedrooms and bathrooms to unsuspecting parents

My daughter about 3 yrs old searching around the house loudly asking of the universe in general 'where's that bloody cat' was the funniest/cutest thing I'd heard. Never heard her use that word before.

The village has lost its wifi connection. Mast is under repair. Wife has mobile data but I don't. I couldn't get a new sim card under srlf isolation and now I can't because shops are closed.

Not that bad, but I missed the news that all alcohol sales are banned from today. I thought this was the usual farang shop law but, no, local pop stores are banned as well with 100,000 baht fines.

Ban is until 16 April. I only have one box of leo and a bottle of cognac. The latter is too good for anything but a monthly tipple.

Damn and double damn...I missed that bit of news. Wife is tee-total so was never going to tell me.

Waking to the worst quality air in Thailand for the second morning in a row. There is a lot of burning on the mountainsides in the upper Nan valley atm. Virus keeping us on the property all the time; air keeping us indoors most of the time.

A bit like anal sex then (I don't mean of the Papillion variety...).

BTW, you lot are terrible parents, you just make your teachers' job impossible - don't go blaming the teacher when your kids turn out as wrong 'uns (excluding the retarded teachers like Cyrille... )

Not much to complain about yet today (the wife is still in bed).

Really? That's shocking. Don't see it in Thai news, so I've started a thread for you, Troy. Well for the rest of the members.

Cheers for the heads up... and bottoms up

Speaking of retardation, isn't it time for you to give us more of your unique take on immunology, batty?

I notice you slithered away from that thread following forum-wide mockery of your laughable nonsense.

You really are a ridiculous sham as any kind of educator.

I was absolutely right due to my background in advanced research in memory and learning at the cellular and genetic levels. But, I took Mark's advice:

Now, have you been sucking on those chocolate salty balls, as I told you too? Nice weren't they...
