Woke up on my birthday to find my bedroom floor flooded. Rain had seeped in from the French windows to the patio. Also discovered my ATM card was missing presumed lost.

Do bad things happen in threes? Yup. GF flight delayed 24 hrs by the airline.

Afternote. Having reported my ATM card lost, I rock up to the local branch for a replacement. I have passbook and photo ID with me but no police report. Local bank manager feels sorry for me and takes me to the cop shop for a free police report and takes me back to customer service at the Bank. No charge for new card either.

I think it was a bit of both, but hard to say. I usually just try and keep my head down at work and always keep work and my social life as separate as possible. Work social events lead to mistakes being said and made. Got no time for it.
