I'd like to moan about the Germans.
Specifically, the 1990 world cup semi-final because I think it was unfair. Platt's winning goal should not have been disallowed and Waddle's shot should have hit the underside of the crossbar and gone in. I was thinking about this the other day, and it still pains me...

Fcuking dimwit Frog guests rated my hotel on Booking.com at 2.9/10, when most guests give it 10/10.
And why?
I know why. I was woken up by them at 1 am in the morning to remove a (I quote) 'massive, dangerous spider' from their room.
So I go and check and there is a smallish spider on the curtain. In an instant, I hit it with the floor mat and spider is no more.
'That was not a massive, dangerous spider' I said. 'That was a very small spider - wait till you see the massive spider'.
For some reason, the female Froggie didn't seem to understand my British banter and looked horrified.
I have already flagged this review up to Booking.com and pointed out that they should remove the low rating review because the guests were 'twats'.

When they checked out, they needed to go by taxi to Karon Beach. I ordered a taxi for them and about 1 hour later, the taxi driver called me from Karon Beach and said the frogs refused to pay the taxi fare of 1,000 baht.
If anyone knows Phuket, they will know that taxis are very expensive. The approved fare from the airport to Karon Beach is 1,000 baht. These frogs were living in a timewarp and refused to pay more than 300 baht!
I told them by phone that if they did not believe me about the taxi fare, then they should contact the Tourist Police (which happens to be me!!), or ask at their destination hotel. I then emailed them a photo of the official taxi fares, which actually indicates a rate of 1,200 baht to Karon Beach.
They were mightily upset, but finally paid the taxi driver. I guess they thought that I was trying to rip them off, whereas the plain truth is that they were DUMB, DUMB and DUMBER in so many departments, (including the Vendee, where they originated from).
