Kids' fucking moronic school cancelled classes today due to 'projected heavy rain', which of course never materialized. So, having fucked it up today, they just cancelled classes for tomorrow due to a 'possibility of rain'.

And, as a capper, retardo President just declared Eid a national holiday for next Friday, despite the fact that it (a) doesn't fall on Friday and (b) the 1% of Muslims live way in the South and are going to celebrate it anyway and (c) your average Flipper has no clue what Eid represents.

So, a four-day weekend followed by a three-day weekend - neither for any rational reason other than sucking the dicks of head-banger countries that employ Flips as slaves.

There is no hope....

My Mother has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily caught in the early stages and, praying to Gods I'm not sure even exist, hopefully she'll beat this fukker that takes no prisoners.

Got a friend who's Mom just had a double mastectomy, he was worried sick of what to say to her, or what to do. He even mentioned he was brought up on those 2 teats, bless him.

Anyhow, my point is, the only advice I gave to him was to just be his usual self and make her laugh and smile and keep her spirits up and don't mope. He told me she was in fine fettle when he went back from his hol here.

Women are far stronger than us mentally. I have a 94 year old nan who had a leg amputated in January, they cut it off her on a local anaesthetic because they were worried about her age with a general.

I wish good luck to you both, Kurgen. But better still.....good management. Each particular cancer has it's own particular genotype, and some drugs are not effective for certain genotypes, whereas others are.

There's a pretty good success rate with breast cancer these days. But it certainly cannot hurt to suggest she adds a fair bit of the spice Turmeric (preferably fresh) to her diet, to be on the safe side. It's just a root vegetable which looks a bit like ginger, but the anti-metastatic effects are impressive.

Went to BKK for a day meeting. Missed my plane back to Phuket because the roads up to Dorn Muang airport were chocka.

'Never mind' though I. Just get on a later flight. No chance! All flights to Phuket fully booked with Chinese tourists.

I had to spend the night at DM in a rather dubious-looking hotel, (both the hotel and the women in the karaokee bar..)

I hope my Chinese guests who checked in without me at my hotel were able to 'self-serve'

Damn expensive as well.

Missed flight + new flight + hotel + hotel 'extras' ...
