^ So that's the only option?

Thanks, bit bollox to that. I don't want LINE on my laptop.

I thought there must be some way to scan a code on your own phone. What a load of shite that is.

Assuming you have downloaded the QR pic or taken a screenshot of it:

Open your banking app, click on 'Scan', then click on 'Gallery' to select the image of the QR code from your gallery.

    Of course not.

There are millions of QR code reader apps.

So you probably don't want them on your phone too.

So why not just open your banking app on your phone and select 'scan image' on the bottom right of the banking app's QR Code scanner.

    Bkk bank

    And K-Bank.

    As examples.

And it automatically reads the QR Code in the image on the phone.

Yep. Just doing a test withdrawal now before I do a complete account dump.

You haven't got any important bills to pay this evening have you, Eddie? I could leave a few hundred baht in if you do.

    * PS. Thanks for the fingerprint image, too. I won't use it myself but I know someone who will.

32 baht will get you a hot latte from the 7-11 and still leave your account in credit. That's cuz I'm a nice guy, and thoughtful too. A hot latte and a clabstick san-wit. What's not to like?

I've not bothered staying up watching the WC games but been keeping a eye on progress, so Argentina are through and barring a major upset will likely face France in the final.

What kind of hell am I in where i find myself rooting for the Argies over the Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys.

Yep...Life here in Thailand and with a Thai wife. I find I laugh 99% of the time. My wife and I get on great so its not bad, but sometimes you have to hold back busting out laughing at them. My wife knows when she or others are just making it up as I usually say "Is that a fact" and grin.

^ It's cold and windy in Korat today... daytime high of 26 and down to 15 degrees tonight predicted. I haven't got socks on but am airing the winter duvet.

The wife is dressed up like an Eskimo.

Dave the Cat will be wishing he'd never met John Stones and Kyle Walker.

Still, at least he managed to steer clear of the Zouma brothers.

It isn’t even forecast to get that low here in the next week. At least I didn’t have to turn on the A/C this afternoon.
