Well ..... this in Thailand.... So I took a burn around the mountains on my RVF the other day. I noticed this small amber resin residue under the exhaust. Thought...Crap, the fiberglass resin in the muffler pack is finally going away as it was dripping off the bottom. So I cleaned it up and yesterday took another blast through the hills and returned and after letting the moto cool, saw a larger resin spot on the tile and also on my passenger foot peg. Thought "Shit that's odd". So I took off the rear body cowl and the resin is seeping out of the ignition module. The Thailand weather finally turned it from a solid to a liquidus resin. I called up a few buddies here and they said "Oh Yeah, welcome to the party" They had a few suggestions and off I went to get some RTV.

Seeping resin. The resin is for vibration for the PCBA inside the module. It breaks down over time but usually not to fast but Thailand environment is harsh on rubber and sealants.

Fix attempt 1. I give this a 50% chance of working. I am looking for a new module as a back up. Not easy to find in these parts from a 1995 moto.

At 7/11 standing at the cash register, Waiting, waiting, glaring at that fat ass sitting there playing with her phone. " Hey fat ass, you working here today ?" Works every time. They must learn that phrase at 7/11 training school.

Page 1 in the NaGastan 7/11 training manual. Probably every NaGastan "service" outlet.

I've broken yet another phone. Worse, the old one that I broke before is now working, or at least it was when I took it in to have repaired. They can't fix the new one because they don't have the parts and there's a couple of months lead time. They can't fix the old one because it isn't broken, or wasn't when I got it ready to take in. The failure to charge miraculously fixed itself, at least for now. It'll break again when I most need it.

Second night back in Thailand and the ants have found my laptop already. They're all over it at the moment, coming out of the screen, the keyboard, everywhere where there is the tiniest gap or hole. What is it they like about my laptops? I brought over the 10 year-old cheapie because I can't afford them to ruin my main one.

Oh, and without the phone, I have no watch, or no smart watch. I should have left the smart watch in Germany and brought along a decent one that tells the time.

First black out of the trip...welcome home!

I'm sicker than a dog again. Puked 3 times yesterday. Felt like my head was in a vice all last night. This as sick as I've been since i had mono 12 years ago. I ended up in the hospital for that. My throat was closed right up.

Anyway i noticed i have little to no sense of taste. Gotta be the covid

Fuck the parent company. Companies get their nationality from where there were founded. Tim Hortons is unmistakably Canadian. The fact that some Brazilian firm owns it doesn't change that
