I thought about buying one in the shop yesterday then said in my head ‘she’ll just butcher it with metal shit, what’s the point?’
We took possession of a marble coated wok from Lazada. Sounds weird, but nothing seems to stick to this thing.
It's the AntRobertson of woks.
SO.. I've bought a second latex wok turner so there is a choice of colors.
So now I’ve bought one of these instead.
well something must have stuck.
With those non-stick pans the other thing you need to do is make sure you don't cook with a high heat on them and then they'll last for ages. If she wants to cook with a high heat then use a stainless wok - took me ages to train the Mrs too. I have a "Granite" coated pan and had it 5 years and everything still just slips off it, a quick rinse and wipe with a paper towel is all i do.
I threatened her with the wrath of all the gods if she does that.
However, I bought a heavy steel wok which I much prefer to those aluminium composite things and that needs treating rather like a cast iron pan: season when new, gentle wash, good rinse, dry with paper towel and heat, then apply a thin layer of oil and it's good to go and virtually non-stick.
That is until someone decided to clean it with one of those green scouring pads.
My pricey new Bosch drill bit for reinforced concrete does not fit in my Bosch drill. FFS!
^^ Dox reported.
My mate once got done in the forehead by a sandfly and spent 2 weeks (his whole holiday) in his hotel room.
^^^Your predictive text doesnt like 'ladyman',unlike you and your mates
It’s not actually a wok but a frying pan.
^^^Yeah, I was wondering if it would be a baroque staircase in wok form.
But no, it's just marble ground up (presumably) and coated on the pan - so it's just a... wok.
Got a link? All I found were frying pans.
Upon checking the label, yes. So now I know. Knowledge is free if you know where to look or if Somchai in the shop tells you. For the rest of us we pay to learn.
Anyone need an 8mm concrete drill bit? (SDS: Whatever da fook that means.) Free to a good home.
Or, anyone got a whizzbang SDS drill to lend out for 30 seconds to drill 2 holes? After which, the bit is yours, foc, sds and all.
