Grand niece had a chemo appointment for tomorrow but her mum returns that day so wife asked last week if it could be changed to today. No problem said the nurse, a day either side is fine. Anyway, up at 4:30 to get to hospital for 8am...and we're told the appointment can't be changed. Chemo is set for one day a week only. Doctor says that it's not the first time reception/nurse has got this wrong. At least appointment has been made for next week now, so I don't have to do this journey again tomorrow. So many people driving up from Bangkok made roads really difficult to drive this morning.

Still, could be worse, on the way up we saw someone had woken up to find a 10 wheeler in their living room.

No idea, I am grateful they can treat in Udon rather than kon kaen or Bangkok. Getting angry with them won't solve anything so I let the women do the talking. We now know the appointment date is fixed...there's several more months of treatment to go. Just glad I don't have to do the journey 2 days in a row.

One consequence of too much magnesium can be diarrhea..........lets hope your wife realizes to give a proportionate dose!

(more serious consequences can include heart problems, so not something to mess about with too much).

Can also be used to make a WWII style bomb that will cause an explosion that burns at 3000 degrees F for up to 10 minutes.

Just in case the neighbours don't turn the music down.

Yeah, not sure his supplements gonna have that much magnesium. But if you get some real amgnesium, maybe keep it away from any iron oxide......

Tony Fkin Blaire gets a Knighthood, JHC, the sooner they do away with this honours system and the Lords the better - this cvnt should be doing jail time for all the souls he's indirectly murdered and subsequently lining his pockets with his "Middle East expertise". Out of the many so called world leaders in my time, i would personally loved to have seen him assassinated, still would actually. Not sure how her mag got this one so wrong.

The ceremonial order, founded in 1348, is a recognition of significant public service, made as the personal gift of the monarch.

Mr Blair becomes Sir Tony from 1 January, as he joins the order as a "knight companion".

"It's an immense honour," he said. "I would like to thank all those who served alongside me, in politics, public service and all parts of our society, for their dedication and commitment to our country."

He says he will be "Sir Tony" rather than Sir Anthony,

Phony Bliar is responsible for thousands of deaths, what an utter cvnt.

The layer cake at its finest.

You're born, you take shit. You get out in the world, you take more shit. You climb a little higher, you take less shit. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what shit even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake son.

My moan is I'm back in work tomorrow so have to get pissed earlier today.
    Shalom

You start work on a Sunday?

NYE on a Friday is brilliant, because you spend all Saturday recovering and then realise that you have another day to rest…

And HCL. Magnesium dipped in HCL (Pool acid) is exothermic. It can violently react causing an explosion of sorts. It can reach extremely high temps.

I was just clearing our front 'lawn' of this morning's dog turds and the end of the trowel joined one of Yogi's finest going over the wall.

At first I thought it would be a good chance to fire up the metal detector tomorrow and have a father-daughter activity... but that ground's pretty contaminated.

If you know what I mean.

Kid's new bike from Santa had squeaky rear brakes.

I fiddled a few things with some allen keys and screw driver. Sorted it okay.

Apparently happened again tonight by her friend's house. Friend's mum removed the whole rear right brake pads. Kid arrives home in tears.

I out it back on fiddle adjusted some more.

Now when all connect up, the right rear brake pad is completely pulled over and jammed up against the rim. Without the brake pad on, the right side of the assembly is pulled over to the rim, ie, there is no center point that the rear brake assembly stays at, the cable pulls everything towards it to the left, pulling the right side against the rim.

Anybody know how to fix this?
