Power back on after an 18 hour outage. Knocked out by a storm last evening. PEA updates said there were quite a few issues with trees down and poles knocked over, apparently an important one which lengthened the time to restore. Took the edge off enjoying the lower temps and rain but now settled in to do so.

Board keeps opening up halfway through a thread, rather than at the end.

I was just replying to a post, to find it was from last year.

My moan for today is a persistent cough.

I've took a couple of home covid tests and they've proved negative.
So I'll have to put the lung inflammation down to a home DIY lockdown project.

True....you need to be cautious, Joe.

Having said that, last year a mate died of a common form of lung cancer, and he didn't have a cough at all....even on the day he died. Only found out he had cancer when he couldn't walk any more....it had spread to the spine.

Too dumb even to make a link that obvious.

    Denial.

I wonder if he kept one burning in the ashtray while he did his COVID test.

    Thick crunt.

Fever comes before cough. No fever - No COVID.

    Just a dumbass smoker.

more likely to be bronchitis than lung cancer.

you can turn up at just about any (uk) hospital and ask for a chest x ray. tell them you have had a persistent cough for more than 3 weeks. you don't need an appointment or a referral from your gp. the result will be sent to your gp.

Whilst smoking and cancer is a fact those that partake must consider, stress related illness is real and should be avoided.

Being able to trust direct family members and not having to install CCTV cameras may help to reduce stress related illness and possible death.

Imagine not smoking and not drinking all your life and carking it from a heart attack watching your CCTV cameras!

Drove all the way to Safari World today, waved through the gate to the parking lot as we didn't want to do the drive around bit. Parked. Walked past the people sat at the ticket counter because we have a season pass only to find the gates locked and it's shut. Not one of them cunts thought to tell us. What did they think we were doing?!

And then the indoor playground on Srinakarin had about 2 children in so we just bought some crap from Daiso and went home.
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

^ Any clues that Safari World was closed as you were parking?

    Infuriating, isn't it.

Ask AO about having to be escorted out of Big C by his kids when they sold him a TV cable for a TV that they couldn't actually sell him, as they were showing him the display model and didn't actually have any in stock. But still sold him the cable they used to connect to it.

With all this hot sticky weather we've had lately I've developed the most God awful, itchy heat rash all around my crotch. It's worst around the balls and 'balls adjacent' area but extends back, up the crack almost to my arsehole.

I can't walk anywhere without scratching it almost to the point of embarrassment, but when sitting down it's just unbearable and I'm constantly rubbing at it to get some relief. A cold shower when I go to be helps for a while before the itching starts up again.

I found some old nappy rash cream in my wash bag today but I reckon it must be at least 9 years old and doesn't seem to make any difference. Canestan cream normally helps for this but we haven't got any... a trip to the pharmacy first thing tomorrow me thinks.

LOL. keep dry, wear boxers or go commando and get the cream when you can. If not improved in a few days, go see a dermatologist.

^^, ^ Thanks guys, I need to do something fast cos I'm walking around like an alligator at the moment to reduce the chaffing.

Thing is, itchy powder is great, but after a shower I'm actually sweating before I can dry myself... powder just clumps up.

And how to keep dry? I'm constantly damp and rubbing away... you can imagine the state of the inside of my boxer shorts. Skidmark city.

I should be used to this after so many years but it seems so much worse now.

    Maybe I'm just getting older?
