Doubt that. The house is structurally sound and there are 48 pilings put in it at from 23 to 32 meters deep, on the extension. Ka Boom Ka Boom Ka Boom. If it subsides again dynamite will be the answer.

Well, Mrs Troy decided to paint the bathroom ceiling and relegated me to the ironing. That lasted until I finished the ironing and checked on the progress. The paint was a little thick and required a good stir and a little water. However, Mrs Troy knew better and ended up with white water instead of paint. She soldiered on, ending up covered in little white spots and a very watery ceiling.

Naturally, it was all my fault and I have to repair the damage...

Hey - you’re the husband so it can only be your fault (for not exerting sufficiently tyrannical supervision).
Which if exerted would make you a repressive oppressor.

Ran over my brothers dog fuuuckk.. Stupid mutt was sleeping behind a vehicle. I started it , let it run for a bit then backed up slowly. Heard the fucker yip. Rolled ahead. He fuct off on 3 legs.

His other dog was run over 2 months ago. Seen the mutt later. He was just slightly limping. Looks like the fucker is going to be fine.

So there’s a critical assessment question that my students have to get right.
So I tell them that what’s in the textbook about it is a load of meaningless waffle, clearly and concisely explain what they need to understand, draw the circuit on the board, and then explain it again.
Then their assessment answer is usually wrong.

Nah. The other trainers report the same issue so it’s probably not me.
All students speak reasonable to good English.

Hah. The company wrote it ....
Discussed with top kahuna today - it will be fixed at last after my numerous attempts to inject some sanity.

    Garden Shears.

I buy them and tighten them and sharpen them and all they do is squeeze the grass into submission. Is there a brand in Thailand that will actually slice through the grass and weeds around my trees?

Yeah, I've noticed how useless shears are in Thailand.

I've also noticed how incredibly cheap they are.

I expect a decent pair in the west would be more than anyone, including most farang in Thailand, would be prepared to pay.

It would cover a part time gardener's salary for about a year.

I'm gonna have to re-assess the wages I'm paying, although my gardener does a lot more than just cut the grass.

I just checked on Amazon and it looks like about 30 quid will do it.

It seems I overestimated the price.

You won't get much gardening done for 30 quid!
