Another simple answer and psycho analysis of Thai logic-

They drive forward and stop whilst blocking all the traffic to load their shopping safely ensconsed ahead of a tailback of the most patient motorists you'll ever see

I read somewhere that you don't have to do that in an airfryer. I've had no mishaps yet

It's impossible for a potato to explode and leave the skin intact.

Should clarify you mean make holes in the tato to let the heat escape, otherwise Belgians might read it wrong and end up in ER.

One of my many and varied early Thai learning experiences started with anxiety that my overnight bus had stopped in lane 2 of 3 on Sukhumvit alongside another bus, around 21.00 with a fair amount of traffic, to open door and arrange what sounded like details for a later meet.

And another thing I got out of that is your point, that oncoming traffic simply moved over and filed past on the outside without a single beep.

So the wife tells me to clear a large patch of the garden yesterday morning. Why? I asked tentatively. Oh, because I've ordered 1000 grass plants to feed the cows and they arrive tomorrow...

She is like a few project managers I used to know.

My lockdown moustache, which I've already moaned about due to it being more grey than the bushy Freddie Mercury style I was hoping for, is pissing me off.

When I scrunch my nose up the tash smells of old, musty furniture. After meals it smells of gone-off milk.

I can't drink a drink without having to suck off froth while simultaneously wiping back and forth with my tongue - even to my ears it sounds disgusting. I can't eat a meal without needing a towel to keep wiping bits off. When I go swimming I get white, stringy bogies stuck to it.

My daughter no longer wants cuddles and the wife has moved to the spare room... again!

WTF people grow moustaches I do not know.

The wife put some sticky rice on to steam and forgot about it. Been an hour since discovered...got the smoky air out of the house and now working on the sooty smell. Rice buggered as is pan and steamer. Wife has been informed she is in charge of returning the pan and steamer to pristine condition. Worse thing though the sticky rice was my designated sweet treat before the daily 2:00pm fasting start. Currently feeling a bit grumpy. Nothing to eat now till 5:00am.

My instilled discipline consists of the timer on the smart phone.

It's quite surprising that after your "information" to the wife (or was it somebody else who "informed" her?) you are still alive, being able to communicate....

Remote conference calls two weeks running, audio only and no briefing beforehand. Lots of silent moments as you can't pass a note around or have a whisper in someone's ear. In the end there were 10 in the call and only 4 of us said anything.

Maybe one or two left the mic muted...

Still, at least I have Skype for business and WebEx on my handy now
