It's what I see every day!
    Youth staying at home.
I take the dog for a walk and feel uncomfortable with the volume of self righteous OAPs getting there steps in.

This virus will decimate the care homes and in turn give the relatives their rightful inheritance, instead of the care homes siphoning it off at a grand a week and the government inheritance tax.
    Cheers Chinese bat eating fvckers!

    Two main moans today...

I've grown a lock down moustache... something I've been meaning to do for years but never had the time... and it's come through mainly grey!!! Well pissed off about this as I was hoping for a thick Freddie Mercury style tash.

And even as I write it, I can tell that my second moan may sound pedantic... my wife keeps mixing up my airline cutlery with the normal stuff and it's starting to get to me. There are two special mugs to put the airline cutlery in... it couldn't be more simple.

I really don't think anyone should be made to self isolate with their own spouse for any length of time... it's just not natural.

    You are not alone!

We have some shiity cutlery from Ikea that she insisted on buying.

Much to my bemusement as we allready have some fantastically expensive quality cutlery.

She's now started digging them out and mixing them in with the Ikea cutlerly draw.

No ryhme or reason to it and no explanation, if I press her on the matter it will end up as world war 4.

Arrange for one of the village "beauties" to come over, when your wife is home. Your wife will watch as the beauty slowly, delicately and sensuously re-arranges your "precious" and leaves with a smile.

She may nod at you or ...

Place her cutting board quietly onto the counter top. Select and place onto it, a smallish, deep red carrot.

Pickup her large, sharp cleaver and equally slowly, delicately and sensuously, chop the carrot into thin slices. Then turn to face you, with her own, sweet smile.

Mixed cutlery, mixed crockery, mixed floor tiles. It is clear that she and I see the world differently.

...indeed, in a few more weeks, everything she does will be intensely annoying as you discover, exasperation after exasperation, exactly what household arrangements go on in your absence...

I had grown back my stash about 4 months ago. It has about 8 hairs that are not white. But the last 3 weeks I ceased to shave at all. Just carved something out this morning. Nice full beard but totally white. Not a hair with color one Used to be reddish on the chin and browner on the sides. Such is life... Nobody but the neighbors will see it anyway.

I was almost going to agree with you, but disconnected after the ... that are not white. I was the only person on my ship to not have a facial hair growth of sorts . . . not much has changed. Four, five days of growth then . . . stagnation

Nothing has got so desperate that I've gone without a shave for more than three days...I could do with a haircut though.

It is has been jolly hot the last couple of days. The idea of living here permanently has always included March & April being somewhere else. We've had to put the Aircon on at night, which is a rarity in our home.

^ not forgetting the diseases from pigs, chicken and beef...

The 'arry sentiment of bat eating chinkies is, I hope, just a bit of light hearted banter.

Quite a window on your finances there.

What a strange term 'rightful inheritance' is, as if one's parents owe one anything.

How will they avoid inheritance tax, Chitty?

They could actually end up paying more inheritance tax.

^^ I don't think it's about inheritance tax ... it's that there will still be some inheritance left without it all having been spent on long term exorbitant care home fees.

Clearly to Mercans, a comment about fresh Pesto is a greater crime that being accused of being a pedo or of fucking your mother - as Jeremy Clarkson said on a top gear mercan special - he truly believes Mercans are mating with vegetables - i cannot disagree

Right, we are the correct side of he meridian and so can you Mercans mend your collective to addressing:

    a. A consistent set of rules that you will post to members with a real threat enforcement.
    b. MODing (not all the time) which interjects in a thread (anonymously) like TV but less intrusive that squarely lets posters know what they nudged and why.

i reckon if you set up an area for fuckwitts who cannot obey the rules then you will have much less intervention in future, if they cannot abide they get banished but not like fish (that was too harsh).

Death and taxes, Chitty, and come to think of it the sooner they die off the less they will pay the care homes leaving larger estates for dependants to pay more in inheritance tax.

    Almost worth keeping them alive.
