^ I hold a single pair at most mate... wish it wasn't so.
Where I live, we are in 'Lock-down' due to the Virus.
Some exceptions ... exercise being one of them, but only very small groups.
Sunny day here, SWIMBO busy elsewhere so off to the park, on our bikes with the boys.
HEAPS of people, but it's a huge Park by the River and enough room to swing a cat and practice our Boomerang throw.
I can actually make the sucker return ... well, within a couple of metres from where I stood.
Everyone taking turns, I chuck a big one, wind changes, flies back over my head and gets stuck in the tree
Dad, lets throw the Soccer Ball up to knock it down says one of the Boys.
Guys, what if it gets stuck up there also and then we have nothing.
OK, what about our caps?
No
Bikes? ... there were half serious
No, let's just go play soccer. Which we had just started when 2 dogs, which were off leash in the leased area decided to join.
The Alsatian wrapped it's mouth around the ball and, from 10 metres away I could hear the POP.
The dogs owners were apologetic, but just walked off ... big thanks there.
Up side?
- Well, we now had a dead, deflated lump of plastic to throw into the tree to knock the boomerang out ... and on the 17th attempt, we did.
- There were some very nice ladies exercising in the Park.
I'd be giving the gardener a considerable pay rise, sharpish
The words "Chuck Wow" are what you want to be listening out for around the village now, before beating a hasty retreat, instead of your bishop, you wrong un
Also be wary of those performing kite flying gestures, which is the Thai wanker signal
You guys have taken it for granted that this establishment is full of girls. Maybe the gardener caught Mendip watching a bit of man action and will take him to the Thai version of the Blue Oyster?
The UK simply does not get it!!! Here in Thailand even small football pitches and exercise parks are closed. We are practicing social distancing and wearing masks. March 1, Thailand 300 cases the USA less than 100. With masks and social distance and shutting everything down. April 4, Thailand 2000 cases, the USA 300,000. This is what the UK is looking at. IMHO. Good luck..
Luckily my daughters are in California which was the first state to shut it all down. The curve is lowering especially around the SF bay area. So that is some solace to a worrying dads mind..
Dark Matter, not great, not bad, but you get into it... Nice finale to season 3, looking for season 4 - show was cancelled 2-3 years ago...
^ one of those options would be really fantastic news for Dilly (Mendip?), the other one, not so much...
The Gym equipment and the Kid's Playground were signed/taped as closed, but the expansive grassed areas were open as were the running/biking tracks.
Everyone I saw were practicing social distancing.
As it should be.

Even in the few, larger Dept. stores that were open, the queues to the check-out were marked in 2 metre stars on the floor so you know where to stand.
At our TESCO equivalent, through the checkout, you have to self pack the bags and a large perspex barrier has been erected between the cashier and the customer.
Cash is being almost banned as a form of payment, certainly shunned upon.
The Boys, I've never washed my hands so much in my lifetime!
A decade is a long time to be away. Ten years I'm told!
This lockdown stuff is making every day like Groundhog Day.
^ I confess there have been quite a few times over the last two weeks when i had no idea which day it was.
