Mate in UK says he's unsure if he should book for his first of the year's 3x2-month adventures, wrote to the Thai embassy to ask if it's safe to book because he doesn't want to have the hassle of cancelling later on; guess what no response, best I could do is tell him flights are still incoming, and the UK should be on any priority list.
Meanwhile back at home, just been informed our glorious leaders have decided it's too dangerous to send kids to school, so Summer Camp is cancelled and school's closed indefinitely.
Oh woe is moi, ah wretched!
I've got a lot on just now... the wife is away a lot (which is great, but leaves a lot for me to do), so school runs, cooking, homework are down to me, I'm sorting out six years of tax issues, a bit worried about the lack of work with this Coronavirus, etc etc...
The gardener must be feeling sorry for me as he keeps leaving little glasses of Ya Dong in my usual places. despite me trying to stay dry during the week. I go to the kitchen last night to finish cooking, and there's yet another Ya Dong for me sitting next to the food. This latest batch is real neck-shake stuff, but what can ya do?
No. I have not strayed into diabetes yet. Got a high glicose reading (pre-diabetes) a couple of months ago, tweaked the diet and got it down to normal, latest reading pre-diabetes again. I know what it is, bread, bloody bread. I had got a bit lax and upped my bread, toast, sandwiches. Time to crack down on the carbs again.
And no amount of creatine and whey protein will straighten that out.
I have a friend with that pre-diabetes.And no I'm not the friendHis heels have started to crack which is a bad sign, he was saying. He also has pain there.
